This poem was enter in the "Break" competition
I gave you 10 years of my life
I stuck by you thru thick and thin
But I just couldn't win. Nothing I did was ever right
All you wanted was to fuss and fight.
You're telling everyone I did you wrong and how you've moved on
Joker who you trying to fool
All you did to me was be cruel
But still I pushed on
I carried the family on my back
All you did was go on the attack
You said that you loved me, at the same time belittling me. You couldn't see what you was doing...

I'M IN LOVE!
She's sent from the heavens above
Her skin is coco brown, her smile is so sexy,

I just want to be love.........
Is that asking to much?
That's how it seems
I just keep getting crush
My heart has been broken, cheated,
stabbed, and played
All cause a man is trying to get laid
I'm left feeling betrayed
It takes more then words and a nice date
To become my bedmate
I'm looking for my King
To step into my reality
Can I be loved

But now I realize it was all just a game

Natural Beauty
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so I've been told. I'm what you call a natural beauty, no makeup or weave. I'm 100% real and that's the deal.
From my head down to my feet, it's all me.
No fake hair, eyelashes, makeup, lips, breast, nail, butt or toe nails. That's how it'll always be. I don't need all that to be beautiful.

A story never sold
We meant in high school and I thought you was cool. We went to the dance, you showed me true romance
I made you laugh, you made me giggle. You had me feeling all warm and tingling
We never got past 1st base, to many haters on our case. Damn I miss your kiss your warm embrace
I always wonder how you taste
I'm sorry I closed the door before our feet even touch the floor

I apologize a thousand time.
I replay that moment in my mind, when everything went wrong. I let my emotions get the best of me and that shouldn't be.
Everything was fine, I was enjoying your time.
But then you did some confessing that I wasn't expecting. It broke my heart and that's when the downward swirl started.
I wanted you to be my man, so I wouldn't have to worry about you sharing all your glory sorry.
We use to have fun together and I thought it would only get better. I miss your touch, wishing we would've never fuss.
I wish we could start over but that's like...
