This is me in a nutshell
This is me, that's all I can be
I'm built in a 5'7, 132lbs frame
I'm not about the game or into the lames
I will always be true, no matter to who
Whether your my friend, foe, or boo
I'm still learning and growing. I never claim to be prefect, far from it if you ask me.
I have many layers to uncover
So if you don't have the time, DON'T even bother
Its going to take a real strong man to break down my armor not a thug from around the corner
I keep my feelings bottle up because there's no one I can trust. My kids are my world if the truth be...

my son
I look at my son and right now its just fun. This Trayon Martin story really got me all worried, about his future and the man he is to become.
He's so sweet, innocent, & young
But one day he's going to have to be tough & strong cause the color of his skin seems to be wrong
Last night I hugged him and cried
He look at me and said don't worry mommy I'm not going to be bad
I pulled him closer, hugged him tighter, looked in his eyes, and told Trayon did nothing wrong that's why everyone is sad and mad
He did nothing except be black and that's a fact!

gotta bend
He's so sweet, passionate, and strong
with him is where I belong
In his arms, I feel so safe, free away from harm
His kiss lights my fire
His touch I desire
When he looks at me and smile, it makes me wanna go that extra mile
He's awaken something within so I guess I gotta bend. I don't want to lose something so wonderful just because I'm not being practical
I'm scared of getting hurt but I have to get past this fear cause I don't know how much more he can bear. I can't keep pushing excepting him to come looking. He's so fine could he really be all mines?!

Nobody knows the real me, how could that be?
I keep all my feelings bottle up
Just trying to stay atop
I smile to hide my tears and fears
The pain I just can't bare
I cry at night cause I'm afraid of this thing called life
I made some not so good decisions
That has only clouded my vision
All I can do is drop to my knees and pray that God gives me peace

despite being scared
He stole my heart and made it whole
But I pushed him back and gave him no slack
I went into my shell, into my mind, where I live in hell
Scared to let someone get to close.
So I put us on cruise and just let us coast
I don't want to be a bitter black lady
I'm looking for my starting quarterback like Tom Brady
I'm difficult and mystical but if he's willing to break down my walls
I promise to never let him fall
He would be king of my castle, it'll never be a hassle
He would never have to question my love ...

where did i go wrong
Where did I go wrong?
Did I come on to strong?
All I did was try to show you that I'm here for you
But you turned and walked away
How could the man I call babe be so bold and cold?
You said you love me but how could that be?
I guess it was inflation from the situation
I walked away from the start but came back like a fool, now I'm feeling like a used tool
Went against the grain, thinking we both could maintain a equal understanding
But I'm left standing and wondering
Did I get played, was this all a charade?!
