Traveling light.
This cold morning air reminds me of the shoulders I had turned away from me back then.
Friends and family slipped away faster than the my old babysitter I strangled. True company is hard to find when everyone has daggers hidden away.
Kindness kills and wisdom is ignored out of fear of truth. So I had to close my eyes to be accepted.
Lovers lost to time and decay like a sugar worn tooth. Perhaps it's for the best they stay at oceans length.
I'm leaving for calmer waters I hope they all starve for an open ear when the silents in their heads becomes...

Faith in a father falls through
Bible beatings followed by screaming and threats from the mouth of a man you trusted. You cry in the hopes to be saved from the touching and forced oral.

This is not a game of give and take. This life just takes without a second thought. I was having second thoughts on the path I chose to walk.
Cut the power to this system of self inflicted shortages. I overloaded my own head with long past fears and uncertainties.
Cold eyes plucked from the skull, giving me back my sight. Snapped the razor in two and gave it to my lover for safe keeping.

The mother that has wept for so long is pissed. The flames of your ignorance have no effect anymore.
Hold your breath as your submerged in a sea of hate. Gasp as the oxygen is forced out of those tar coated lungs.

In agony they came to know God.
The air is rich with the scent of blood and repentance.The sinners calling out to their putrid god above as their blood hits the dirt below.
Flesh stripped from bone, blood filling cups for all to enjoy when the light has faded from their eyes. Ignorance is pain.

I put my life's work into us and left my true love behind.The very thing that won you over was put away in the back of my mind.
What was supposed to be an outlet kept having your name added to it.The fire was smoldering while we grew hotter.
When you left me high and dry I wanted to swing as high as possible from the closest tree.
That fire grew into a blazing inferno that only wanted to burn everything around me. Sorry but that mask is making a comeback,no emotions to show you.
