Just starting out with a few ideas and finding my poetic feet. I'll stumble from time to time, but hopefully, not always in rhyme. It ain't easy writing and I'm always on the look-out for inspiration.

One More Before I Leave Forever
Winter wind whips snow white flakes across the barren, sullen moor
Birds stay hidden, warm in their nests, no flying to some distant shore
A frozen touch caresses the land and glistens bright with silver dust
Crisp crackles shatter the cold silence, turning fragile plants to rust
Bleak grey fog covers ground and grass like veils of silken shrouds of death
White shadow flits amongst the stones, a movement wanders with no breath
The snow allows this desolate figure to move through fog and faint pale light
Unearthly soul walk very slowly as plants and trees...

Awaken To Sleep

Hazy sights
Ghostly aura
Bloody frights
Hounds of blood
Bay through the night
Hiding daemons
Come out to fight
Crypt of death
Broken stones
Keep them safe
Those sacred bones
Do not enter
Stay away!
Bite of fangs
Then you’ll stay
Forever walking
Under the moon
Life has ended
All too soon
Vampyr mark
On pale neck
Path of death
Forever trek
Feed on victims
Frail and weak
Back in your coffin
Hinges creak
Sleep tight young prince
The victims bled...

Black Sunshine
Dismiss the rays that touch the skin
Begin to burn from deep within
And search for reasons; bleak, sublime
Of why why we live with Black Sunshine
Feel safe 'neath skies of cloudy haven
Saving time 'til comes the Raven
Afraid of clear heavens with fateful chime
The bells will warn of Black Sunshine
No rain to cleanse or feed the land
As hand in hand we pray for man
To live and learn then pay the fine
For killing Earth with Black Sunshine
Begin to burn from deep within

Mourning Clouds
Shimmer clouds burst forth their jewels
Belie the choice of a final rest
Where no sure destiny
Can count as a mathematic clue
Drop of rain upon petal due
To linger shortly before its descent
And mingle like crowds of those
Who wait for Godot: pointlessness?
Pool created by cumulus Gods
Accumulate to find like minded souls
To dwell deep in mirrored glass
Encourage those to join them still

Night Time Feeding

Of a shadow brushing my face
A light at some great distance shone
Pale rays to illuminate this place
I lay awake and stared
As the patterned wallpaper came to life
Wild abominations peeled away to caste
Reflections in the blade of their knife
Sweat in beads like precious pearls
Hidden away in shells of their own
Covered my brow and stung my eyes
As they fell upon my frown
Anguish and fear took a hold
Whilst I wailed and gripped my sheet
Whose eyes would...

Waking Dreams
Cold shiver awakens damp tears dripping
Sweat trickles down a bony spine
Upper lip displays the quiver
Yet the eyes stay fixed
Honourable honour of ancient tales appear
Shreds lives and takes away the mind
Madness is all that is felt
Soul forever missed
Next, becomes the living nightmare creeping
Shattered brain spasms with shocks
Hallucinatory stories follow
Death puckers lips
Camp fire tells tales of morbid stories
Thrilling those who sit and listen
Wallow in the entertainment
Of stolen lives
Shakes and fear...

The Switch That Flipped (after life...)
The current attacked every point, flames sprang from every joint
As the onlookers watched on in horror
Pain shot through every pore, shocks scorched my very core
My life ended, no feeling of honour
You twelve sat and watched me burn, counted cash that you earn
While I died in front of your eyes
Go back to your lovely homes, expensive stately homes
And remember those terrible lies
Now death has come over me, vision of truths I see
Your lies show up on your faces
Whispering clandestine, planning the fate of my
Life in your devious...

Oxymoronic
The tough woollen gauntlet
With sharp spikes so soft
Raised up loosely high
Round a fist clenched aloft
Fighting wars to end peace
Leave a mark for all time
To new generations
How we all fell in line
Blind eyes see everything
Shows all the right paths
Mute mouths shout out quiet
Then they start to laugh
At the truth lied about life
And the war that was fought
And the lives of the millions
That the Deil has bought

Can I Walk With You At Midnight
I cannot see
I cannot feel
I cannot breath
I know I’m real
But I can sense you
Moving ‘round me
Ready to touch me
Invoke my heart
I cannot smell
I cannot hear
I cannot talk
I feel no fear
But you want to hold me
Give me pleasure
Know you love me
Touch my heart
Now I see you
Now I feel you

Free to love me

For All Time
Sigh,
Feeling high
Losing blood, feels good
Dripping down, slipping into
Unconsciousness
Cut
Slash and burn
Turn the knife, twist the blade
Ripping flesh, carving bone
Like the fiendishness
Why
You should die
Think a while, can’t you try
Little boy that you scared
Now remember me
Cried
All alone
On my own, in my home
Wondering why you should try
To destroy me
Time
For my crime
You will die, try to cry
When your life ebbs away
You’ll remember me
Dead
Now your dead...

A Touch Of Melancholy
A touch of melancholy
Too real to ignore
Her pose reveals more sadness
Than in the words that transpire
The tears of this beauty
Destroy all others
Her weeping brings others
To lay in her wake
As she sits and remembers
A loss of one so fragile
A passer-by takes notice
Of the lake at her feet
He throws her a life line
To shed heartache abound
Her eyes translucent
With relief and with joy
“I’m here to take you
To where you belong
It’s been a virtuous time
Please come to me now”
Her years of...
Too real to ignore

A Ticket To The Madhouse
Lights dim
Now frighten me
Chill me
Devour me
A crackle and a spark
Here it comes

No more time

Film starts

No good
