Poet Introduction
I started writing poetry the night I awoke in the hospital for attempted suicide. I've since took a liking to the craft. I have very recently been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and I am struggling with this fact, so yeah.

To Wonderland Come
I'm shivering alone in this cave of mine
Lost, without a plan
Cursing, what I am
Then suddenly your whispers played
I heard promises of a wonderland
And desperately reached for your
HAND!
IN MINE
INTERTWINED
A LIGHT ENTERED THE DARK
I FELT
MY HEART
HUSH HAPPILY WITH DELIGHT
Now I have you here, and I truly see
This cave of my memory isn't a home for me
I'm mesmerized by the light in your eyes
Shimmering, with life
Happy, unlike mine
You promised you'd take me away
So I believed in you
And you believed in...

The Midnight Dance
Madness, darling, madness is what I feel
Genuine like stars before the moon so surreal
Dangerous like chaos locked inside then set free
My friends they swing and sing and dream
Our dance, a trance, of Better Things

Under this star shot moon
Never Nowhere near noon
Have you ever felt so real

Where is the light
Where did it go
Bleak purple sky
All that i'll know
Haunting me severely
Haunting me dearly
This is my home
I've Nowhere to go
Constantly feeling
Constantly reeling
This is my fate
I feel dreadful so
Process the hurt

Callous heart
Mysteriously sane
Embracing dark
Infamous game
Darkness is the art
October is my name

Swimming In The Flood
What can I do?
The river is overrun
Everyone passes me by
You're the only one who knows
As others swim in this flood
I'm struggling
I'm scared
I'm drowning
We once kept ourselves afloat
Only to move onto another
I thought I found the one
But she was worse than the water
She held me beneath for so long
I swear I thought we were flying
What can I do?
She's drowning me
And I need her to breath
Was she truly surprised
To see me swim desperately back to you?
I'm struggling
