JUST A DREAM
FALLING INTO A BLACK HOLE,
EVERYTHING DISAPPEARS AROUND ME,
COLD AIR BLOWING ON MY SKIN,
NO NOISE NOT ONE SOUND,
WHISPERS OF DEATH FALL UPON ME,
CAN HARDLY BREATH,
IS THE END NEAR?
ALONE WITH NOTHING BUT THOUGHTS,
HEART RAISES,
HOW TO TO THINK HAPPY THOUGHTS?
NO HERO TO SAVE MY LIFE,
BROKEN AND ALONE IS ALL I WILL BE?
NOT NOW OR EVER,
CLOSING MY EYES TO PRAY TO GOD,
HOLDING HIS SYMBOL TO SAVE MY SOUL,
WAKING IN FEAR TO FIND,
IT WAS JUST A DREAM

WHO AM I?
The mask I wear can not be seen,
A smile can hide a million words,
Trying to be invisible so no one can see,
Looking into the mirror but still hidden,
WHO AM I?
A positive person with a bright smile?
Helper send to be?
I think not,
Not seeing past the smile,
Can not find the scars,
A tear is no where to be found,
No pain can be felt,
WHO AM I?
Can not find the person inside,
Questions but no answers,
WHO AM I?

BROKEN
when you close your eyes do you feel the pain?
can you see the sharp blade cut through my vain?
I gave you everything I had,
all you did is break my heart and make me sad,
but I forgive you,
even if my heart is in two,
I will shed a tear when I say your name,
but the feelings are gone and will never be the same,
so here I am crying,
to rip out my heart is like dying,
by the way here is my slogan,
i am finally broken.

THE SMELL OF RAIN
Some days I smell his perfume,
It makes me think of how he use to be,
taking my freedom from my bare hands,
making me hate me,
I felt paralyzed as he touched,
powerless, stupid and weak,
my soul left my body to suffer,
he said never to speak,
how I wished to die over the years,
he made me think it was right,
every night I have sorrow,pain and tears,
I wish the memories were out of sight,
my mind took over and lost control,
all I could think of was the moment,
I took a lot of pills and alcohol,
I wanted to lose the...

SHE
She hates what she sees in the mirror,
she locks herself in the bathroom and cry for hours,
life has been cruel and hard on the poor soul,
she hides away from the world,
no one cares to love her or even sees her,
she sleeps with the lights on to avoid the dark,
no love can save her,
she is alone and misunderstood,
inside her soul she feels cold and empty,
she has no emotions left inside of her,
she hates what he did and can't forget,
she is innocent and scared,

You loved my hair because it was curled,
My eyes were only on your lips,
Everyone around us faid away,

ONE DAY IT WILL END
It started with racism and then a war,
we were judged for being rich or poor,
hate and revenge was all in one's mind,
forgetting to give, love and be kind,
fighting to protect our own for years,
knowing it will all end in blood and tears,
we have to hold hands and stand together,
for this war can not go on forever,
for our Father looks upon us,
to treat each other with love and trust,
there is no life to live in pain and sorrow,
we all pray for it may end tomorrow,
let's unite and see if this country we can mend,

Waste of space and disgrace,
heart breaker and fake hope giver,
broken person and love leaver,
liaer and a cheat,
no job and broken beat,
disappoinment and a joke,

u made a promise u couldnt keep,
