Love is non-existant,
I do not believe it's real.
You make think it's going to last forever,
but time changes the way people feel.

Forever is a lie,
and always is a myth.
People put so much trust in eachother,
just the thought of it makes me sick.

I've seen love crumble at it's strongest,
and second chances never help.
People think I'm just being coldhearted,
but I have witnessed it myself.

People treat love like it's a game,
not considering other's emotions.

to a young and loving couple.
But once drugs hit the mix,
their relationship was in trouble.

Before too long,
one day daddy was gone.
Pain weighed heavy in their hearts,
but they had to push on.

Years go by,
she's now in middle school.
Drinking and drugs are accepted,
and skipping school was "cool."

This was the beginning,
her infestation of addictions.
Maybe things could have been different,
if someone would have just listened.
