My Big Three
The passage of time lends itself to reflection
and while I never sought perfection
I can say some decisions regarding voting preferences
were just a consideration of all the alternatives
Then there were those votes cast at that point
while not designed to blindly anoint
do say yes these values cut across any one moment in time
and suggest a person whom I felt was a change lasting change agent
So while my vote for Jesse Jackson was a message about
getting beyond capitalism on steroids and the murder throughout
likewise the...

Perhaps a star in the sky has been added today
to be a guide for those still on Earth
creation ever present in various forms
can we grasp the true meaning of birth?
Or is there permanency in the hearts and minds
to ensure mortals still make impacts
beyond any turn of common language
the eloquent skills that I do lack
For in the shape of human experience
even sorrow has a full measure of grace
knowing that even one life is made better
validates the activity and our proper place
One of a family so possessed...

His quest for your affections
drives the animal in him to act
at points in his existence
grace and decorum he so lacks
Sweet rapture in pondering your touch
clouds the sense of good taste
and when left to his own devices
might say his conclusion a waste
You see the interaction most sought after
can't be done from afar
when a body on body
makes you the brightest star
Just the lips trigger aspirations for contact
presenting the instrument stiff and erect
and kissing in highest intensity ...

solitary escapades seem hollow and trite
regrettable behavior sticks out in history
another's tender caress makes long many a night
Failed expressions of romantic interest denote failed dates
attributes preferred limit perspective partners to a few
tattoos everywhere and pierced skin so common state wide
cementing an existence as the lonely hearts crew
Even tried a a couple of dating services
