Because I'm Afraid
Because I'm Afraid
I lock myself in
my room where no one
but my walls can mock me
Because I'm Afraid
I blast my music
straight into my ears
In the hope that I go deaf
Because I'm Afraid
I walk out into this world
With an oh-so-real fake smile*
Stretched painfully across my lips
Because I'm Afraid
I speak so loudly
And so much,
No one will notice I say so little*
Because I'm Afraid
I let myself become a mirror
That will reflect to you the person
You believe I should be
Because I'm Afraid...

Where The Young Go To Die
This is where the young go to die
Hurried in fields of flowers
Saddened faces with blades held high
This is their final hour
Oh this is where the young go to die
Note: this sorta just popped into my head one day and I'm not sure if it's an original or a part of a poem that's i've read before. I don't think that it's stolen and I liked it so that's why I'm posting it, but if it is I'm SO SO SO SO SO SORRY, message me and I swear I will take it down immeaditly!!!!!!!!! I don't think it is though...

they wont see
how i cry at night
they wont see
how i lean from light
they wont see
how my scars bleed
they wont see
where their actions lead
they wont hear
the sobs i make
they wont hear
the laughs i fake
they wont hear
the screams i strain
they wont hear
that i'm in pain
they wont know
what they've done
they wont know
whats begun
they wont know
what i hide
they wont know
whats inside
how i cry at night

I know what it's like
To be lost in the pain
All the the beatings you take
Weigh down like chains
I've been through it all
And I've seen the hate
All the times you've cried
And It's sealed your fate

I’m always yelled at to shut up
My feelings are always shattered
Like the screen door to my porch

They say that they'll accept me
And I believed them, but.....
They called me emo
Without knowing I cut!
They called me paranoid
Unaware of my fear!
They called me misjudging
When I see pretty clear!
They called me bulimic
Without knowing I puke!
They called me lonely
I'm just rebuked
They called me dramatic
When I'm really insecure!
They called me crazy
Their love is the cure!
This is why I hide
