‘Wallace’s Tale’
By Gregory Kimball
Wallace graciously helped Howark to stand
And Howark gladly accepted his hand.
“I warned you, my friend.” What more can I say?”
Howark was unsteady and beginning to sway.
Shaking and twitching and gibbering a bit
He was somewhat embarrassed at his earlier fit.
Howark himself was a curious sight
For his hair had turned unnaturally white.
Pouring brandy from an ancient decanter
Wallace engaged Howark in informative banter.

The Damnable Skull of Elijah Scrump!”1/1
By Gregory Kimball
"What’s in the box?” Howark inquired.
To know its contents he so desired.
Wallace gazed through wearied blue eyes,
Took a long breath and heavily sighed
“There’s nothing there, really. Just a pound of bone.”
“But between you and me it should be left alone.”
“Come now, Wallace. How bad can it be?
”Open it up and let me see!”
"Listen, my friend. I’m telling you true.”
“That’s not actually something you want me to do.
“It’s quiet now but not for long.

The Diabolical Doctor Scabies!
The Diabolical Doctor Scabies!”“Introduction to Torment.”1/1By Gregory Kimball
“You beast!” cried Stella. “You despicable cad!”She had come to the conclusion that he was truly mad.“No! No! Not ever! Not in a million years!”Scabies was grinning as he turned the gears.Tighter and tighter the iron bands closed as up from the floor the lab table rose.Whispering softly into her ear his hideous plan became painfully clear.Coolly ignoring her pitiful screeches, Scabies uncovered a container of leeches.“Well, well.” said Scabies “What have we here? Waiting on Eleanor.
Waiting On Eleanor.”By Gregory Kimball
Outside of the mall dreadfully cheery I was feeling drained and rather wearyFor they had been in there for an hour, maybe more.Passing the time my foot restless, tapping. This whole ordeal my energy sapping, As if some ancient vampire lapping, lapping my blood outside the store.“Bloodsuckers!” I muttered. Tapping my veins outside the store.
Wasting my time and wanting more
Oh, Clearly I remember. It was her teenage sister, Kimber, On the couch since last November, her girly things all over the floor. Always swearing to leave...
