Forever is a day,
one that can't be touched.
A day just out of reach,
like a release from today.

My Life After...
I keep myself stuck between love and hate,
in a box above the closet next to a window pane..
A nice little space to keep everyone at bay,
when all I really want is for someone to say they'll fucking stay,
what can I say,
I'd die for someone to say they love me too.
someone to say they'd make these gray days turn blue
but i can't because I'm still strung out over you,
like a dope fiend when his fix is due.
I need out of of this rut I'm set,
and i know from where you are, you see that I'm a fucking wreck.
and i wish i could go back to the day we met....

I still sleep,
as if you were still here,
I keep your space open,

Letter of Time
I suppose I'll ask now,
before I leave,
will you come through time with me,
we'll go somewhere,
where we can be King and Queen,
or find a seaside cliff and cottage,
and claim it ours?
Anywhere,
anywhere but here and now.
It's okay,
if you don't want to,
I'd understand.
How much they mean to you,
it's beautiful.
But I don't have anyone like that,
except you,
so stay if you need to,
watch them live and die.
And when they're all gone,
Whisper to the wind,
and I'll come back.
Until then,
I will always be...

Lantern in the Abyss
These last few weeks have been cold,
when the day you left came around,
I found myself on our bench,
with someone else.
She is kind and beautiful,
and she reminds me of you.
Her and I won't ever be,
because time and life won't allow us,
but in her,
to me,
you are here.
I took to her,
like a moth,
to a flame in an endlessly dark world.
Just as I took to you,
when we first met.
Never could I replace you,
only find a shadow and settle,
with what life gives,
I suppose I'll take.

There's an existence that I've occupied for about 19 years,
and in its occupancy,
I met her,
then i met you,
and now you're both out of reach.
I can't fully say i regret it,
and i can't say i'm sorry,
but Fuck this shit.
I'll be damned if i say i don't love you.
Yeah. shit hurts,
especially when you are too far away,
from a home we could create,
in a world of shit,
we could exist,
but stay back,
it feels good to hurts for awhile,
because it means loving you...

My Apologies, I Didn't Care
I've refused to help,
a friend in need,
just because I had better shit to do.
I've lost my mind,
and found it again,
somewhere between,
fuck you and hold me close.
I've watched her slip away,
and fall apart,
day by day.
I can't say I regret my fuck-ups,
because without them,
I couldn't be me.
However,
as I looked back,
and saw where I've been,
I can say that there are moments,
that I should've said "I love you".
I'd like to think,
that maybe you would be here,
had I not been so distant.

I talk to her all the time,
and sometimes I ask her why,
do I deserve to know her.
All this time I've spent,
holding on to my memories,
of us,
was a waste.
Years flushed away,
continuously bound my past mistakes,
I talk to her,
now in your place.
To her I wake up,
everyday forever more,
because you left me here,

This time, I heard you leave..
Just this once,
I heard you leave.
Unlike the other times,
when you slipped away so silently.
Before,
I never woke,
I never moved,
and you never breathed.
This time,
I heard you scream,
and say goodbye to me.
That night,
I saw you bleed,
from the wound,
self inflicted,
because of me.
I held your thoughts,
and prayed that this,
was only a bad dream,
unknown reasons,
and things unseen,
caused you to take yourself away,
and cause that first rip,
at my sanitys' seam.
Please hear me,
