Vagina Eyes
I used to despise
when they showed up
broken and more beautiful
than they were before
My vagina eyes
made them look
so god damn fucking gorgeous
that I had to lose myself
by being impaled
by the very falseness
that made them
leave in the
first place
I craved it more than air
And then despised myself
even more after it was over
Anger and lust
make strange but
familiar bedfellows
when they showed up

Band of Misfits
Together we spill the words we cannot say
Work at the ramblings we’d rather not give away
Jot a cry in the dark when there is no other way
Sing the joy in our hearts we dare not display
Purge the sorrow of years forgotten we left for other days
Capture the rage in the demons we strive to slay
Hoping to salvage the relationships we try to sway
Remembering the questions left unanswered as we watch shadows play
We’re just a band of misfits scribbling our lives upon a page

I understand your need for anonymity
While part of you wants to shoutout your intentions
You know I will not turn you away
Although we have never met
I know how to fulfill what you desire silently
How to ease your troubles

Revenge Story
High school sweethearts
They knew each other well
A heady romance that started
Beyond the afternoon bell
Groping, traveling hands
And lips that tasted sweet
They soon had passionate sessions
That played on repeat between the sheets
Both each other’s firsts
They vowed to stay together
Nothing could tear them apart
There wasn’t a storm they couldn’t weather
Marriage came first
Then they were a small family of four
But by the time the last could walk
He already found himself a whore
...

A Solitary Daisy
Planted along a worn rickety fence
In the front yard of a paint peeled white house
Stands a solitary daisy
Among blades of grass taller than she
A waft of her feint cheerful scent
Carried by the warm summer morning breeze
Brushes past me as I bend to bend to pick her
I am amazed at the simplicity she radiates
Graceful, dainty petals swaying
Strong, rooted stem giving way
I tenderly place her in my long, curly fire hair
Humbled by her innocence
I seemingly become to be as...

A Treasure House of Goodies
His thoughts and memories work overtime
Stuck in the prison of his own mind
Clanging his cage of pent up rage
He spews obsessions, untruths and arrogance
As I listen
No longer intently
Sometimes with only half an ear
Using television or music in the background to drown out my sorrow
As he tells me his brain is a treasure house of goodies
He has a plan for when he’s sprung from the psych ward
Medication free
Crack binges
And sex
He asks me if I want to travel ...

Love’s deed
A rose of verses
In evolution
With feathered quill
Complex emotions
A brief moment
Neath cosmic skies
With the color of flame
Bringing me happiness
When I feel pain
Feeling pure
As you touch me
With a blue sonnet
As sunlight ushers vision
Bringing forth a jubilation
With clarity of the sunrise
