Homo Sapien
Society
So black and white
Sobriety
Brings back to light
The foundation
Of our ethics
Do what they say
You have no choice
Free will, the biggest lie
They spread from day to day
Freak shows, now when we try
To show the talent of our age...
Bring sanity, redefined word
Back to its long forgotten place
What they insert into our minds,
Illegal is insane
That land is ours,
You cannot stand
Upon that spot
You will pay grand

Exiled
Shackles to hold us down, my love,
Fate has sworn against us
Happiness thrown to the lustful wind,
Which seeks to carry away our years
You and I, forever in exile,
Never to return again
To the warm embrace of our rightful place
So come, and take my hand
Drawn away from sanctity,
We leap to chase our dreams
The wheel turns with endless wrath
To crush our hopes beneath
Bound to one another by a serpent's tail
As its venom crawls through our veins
We fall into each...

Celestial Wishes
She breaks on the horizon,
Shards of shattered light
Scattered across this earth they roam,
Never feeling life
Only that we mend her
Is what she asks this day
To piece her back together,
Not to look the other way
Catch a ray, a beam, a star,
A fallen teardrop from afar
Illuminating golden rose
From whom our silent beauty flows
Reaching far as you can see
Omnipotent glares deceive
For you shall fall beyond the grass
As soon the crimson hours pass

Shards of a Perfect Dream
The empty space had lifted,
The gap filled in my chest
My heart I thought would never beat again
With your grace I was gifted,
I gave all that I had left
Wondering where all my life you'd been
I can't control the change in me,
This change that only you can see
Apparent to no one, not even I;
I had grown weak under your spell,
A tale my desperation tells
Like so I'd fallen prey to my own pride
As I grew into my lust,
Yours grew old and stale
The man that you had come to love

Bittersweet Agony
When people show concern...
"I'm fine, thanks for asking!"
I have long since learned
This state of mind is everlasting
One moment to the next I live without shame
I live without fear, I live without blame
This boredom consumes me, each day is the same
Each hour that passes is just like a game
I don't seek for power, I wish not for fame
I'm rather content if just few know my name
Though not even I am so sure of my aim
I walk the winding path and I know not why I came
What I know is no regrets,
A life...

Depraved
The rays of the oppressive sun
The light harasses me, it stuns
Makes me recoil and retreat
Shrink into shadows, dodge the heat
I do not know if I am cursed
If I've been out of place since birth
But of this one thing I am sure
I would not wish to find a cure
I sink into my shallow grave
Aware of how I am depraved
Enthralled by that which pains the souls
Of those beyond this curtain's folds
Belonging where the darkness binds
Far from the streams of beams that blind ...
