The second anybody gives you something to think about
You start talking like you've got it all figured out
The smartest one in the room
But it's so hard to get through
You only listen to yourself
Place yourself on the highest shelf
Looking down
Like you're something else
Just a clown
Not the cat, you're the mouse
This sheep thinks he's a wolf
Gives speeches...

March of the Dead
I walk the cemetery alone
Watched the sun set hours ago
Fog drifts in, blanket for the bones
Cozy and warm, they wait down below
Blows like a storm, my hatred it grows
I'm changing in form, fading like a ghost
The demon taking over
I peer over both shoulders
Feel a tingle up my spine
Spirits mingling behind
Corpses brood beneath the moon
As I intrude among the tombs
Across which tortured souls are strewn
In a morbid mood of gloom, misfortune blooms
Following me up the trail
Draw...
Watched the sun set hours ago
Fog drifts in, blanket for the bones
Cozy and warm, they wait down below

Happy New Year
Here's to a new year, bringing new cheers!
As the dust from 2018 clears
We stand amongst the rubble of fake dreams and fears
I sit and wonder who is gonna die and why
Will tonight be the last time I close my eyes?
How many celebrities will commit suicide?
How many civilians caught in the crossfire?
How many pedestrians struck by a drunk driver
In a residential area going a hundred and five?
I don't know what it'll take to come out alive
So hold on tight, it's about...

Waste of Space
You're waiting for an afterlife you'll never see
Afraid you're just a passerby, and I perceive
That when you die, you will deserve no empathy
Don't ask me why, you're delivered in ecstasy
Be vilified, defying logic endlessly
Reason denied, escaping your reality
Shriveled and dried, resigned to live life on repeat
Like suicide, designing deliberate defeat
Just taking up space
Not waking for days
You oxygen waste
Your toxic intake
Narcotics fixate
In carcinogens swim
'Til darkness sinks in ...

Resolve to Evolve
All along I sought a stronger bond
Once a scrawny pawn
I've now gone beyond
And at dawn respawned
I've returned to haunt those who've done me wrong
And also anyone who frowned upon
Like a hound I'll gnaw
While I lay down the law
Now I've got the line drawn
Vow to take a bite raw
Growling as my spine crawls
Howl, extend my dry claws
Time for bloodshed nigh because
This night I'll shred without pause
Without a beat skipped
When I sink my teeth in

My virtues are shredded
By this curse I've embedded
Like a serpent beheaded
I'll be the first to regret it
Turned to a person I've dreaded
Sunk into bliss
Stuck in the abyss
Sun on the verge of setting
In the twilight, words forgetting
From bad to worse I'm treading
Cracks are bound to burst the levee
Ravaged mind, purge of sanity
Craft a fine dirge for serenity
Mournful verses, peaceful threnody

I feel this evil taking hold
Enveloping, drowns my soul
Reaching, breaking from the mold
I know I just can't let this go
And I will never know
What burns within
I might feel better though
When words wear thin
My spite forever grows

The tithe of blood will flow

Mindless decadence surrounds

I'm weak-willed, I can't escape
The cheap thrills that overtake
The bleak chills keep me awake
Deeds fulfilled that I can't erase
Left feeling lost in time and space
Helpless husk, an empty shell
Selfless lust, contemptuous spell
Compelled to let impulses overwhelm and take the helm

While I sit and wait
For a girl with a little waist
And a pretty face
I was so tantalized

About your outlandish eyes
Hair, every strand is dyed
Can't help but romanticize

Vertigo
Feels like endless suffering
Hear limbless seraphim sing
Melodies mournful, longing
Since they fell and lost their wings
A tragic slip
Like a magic trick
Got them banished there
Punished, plunged through air
I've got vertigo
Dreaming of the things I'll never know
Staring down upon the wastes
From my solitary space
Where I voluntarily stay
I wish the past could be erased
Watch them again ascend to grace
Alas
The kingdom does not want them back
Trapped
Reliving sins they can't retract ...
