Beneath the dank unearthed remains
A soulless crust of death decays,  
As silent screams still ricochet
Across the land in shallow graves.

What wicked lies of man create
This genocidal seed of hate,
Perverting truth to infiltrate
The final purge of every race.  

When silence seeks no answers through the mist
And summer sheds her ripened shades of fruit.
Forever in my eyes this fatal kiss.
Conflicted are the stars in spite of truth.  
My stolen heart is lost in frozen time,  
As Autumn's song flows swiftly through the leaves.
Yet in forgotten voids of love still shine;  
Her beauty rains a light beyond the sea.
Though life has plundered conscience like a thorn
And seasons scroll a warning to us all.
I wrestle every demon till I'm torn.
This dawning arc of love before the fall.   ...

Am I condemned to wander aimlessly through life?
This grand illusion masks the pain I feel inside.
Beyond the den of emptiness, my soul has disengaged.
Toiling through the darkness for a solitary wage.

The anchor lost as sullen dreams are slowly cast adrift.
This introverted voyage screams a love that I resist.
The currency of worthless life is slowly running dry;
Corrupted by the demons which plague my shallow mind.  

My eyes lingered at her beauty
Her timeless gaze distilled through mine
A brief liaison swirls in silence
Unconscious longing never dies

This spider's web of solitude
A padded cell so destitute  
This fatal curse within my soul
Imprisoned in the truth untold
 
Incarcerated dreams dissolve  
In soft asylums glazed with gold
Just a phantom flame remains
Extinguished by Autumn rains
