It's been a rough few days for me lately. I spent my Thursday working in a area with no cell service. Cut off from the outside world. The work was still fun but anything outside of work was unable to reach me. I get home Thursday evening and find out that one of my cousins passed from cancer. She was suffering from a stage 4 cancer so it was tough on her. She was around my dads age and they were really close so I took it kind of rough. My dad and I didn't get along for a long time but before he passed we began to bond and grow. I miss him. My eyes water with just the thought of him being gone...

Silence. Candles flicker. Marvin and Teddy in sync with the movement of our shadows. The way my names rolls off her lips no one deserves to ever repeat it. Her legs feel like silk and smells of the lotions and perfume that signifies her presence within my senses. As her chest rises and falls with every breath my heart beats faster; time moves slower.  The smoothness of a glass of milk colored with the same fullness as that gazing stare. As her eyes open and close I suffocate and gasp for air until they open again. Those eyes....they see my faults; they see my fears; yet they tell me no one is...

I'm so in love I'm gonna get myself in trouble.
Give opportune time to a women who doesn't
deserve it. Been there done that and learned what
I can't do. But my inexperience with love has me
afraid of what I can do. I can kiss you good morning;
say I love you every night. Be the funny guy your
family loves and be strong enough to defend and
fight. I can't wait to sit on the couch and you sleep in
my hands. And tell you that if you left me I could
never love again. I'm so in love it's gonna get me in
trouble. But I jut cant understand who this...

The foundation she needed.
The support she wanted. She
claims she wants a good man.
She just wants an opportunity.
Gave time and so much effort.
But her mind was where she
use to be instead of making the
best of this opportunity with me.
We crashed and burned.
You poured that gas and lit the
trail. I learned my lesson. I
lost my balance. Couldn't stand
firm. Now I roam. You pushed
me down the mountain
and made this rolling stone.

I deserve the girl of my dreams.
Beautiful person inside and out.
And the fact that her kind heart can allow
her to love this flawed soul in me.
She doesn't realize what a gift she is.
How her lips and head fit perfectly on
my shoulder. How the the warmth of her
fits perfectly into mine. How I would dry
out this world and find you another to see
that shine in your eyes when you're truly
happy. But no one told me the girl of
my dreams may not be in love with me...
