Reflection
They say before you die
Your whole life flashes before your eyes
I hope that time is long from now
That I can grow somehow
Reflection of so many choices, threw me on another path
Some decisions rooted from wrath
I was delusional at times
Traded my wealth for a few dimes
Took too heavy the burdens i had
Little things that made me mad
Now I'm reflecting on the big picture
Now I know you'll always be with her
But there will never be a time for us
Cause it's her you love and her you trust
And if I'd known then what I now know

Giving up what can I say it's what I do
Strength when alone you're still fighting 2
Who you are who you want to be
Sacrifice for conveniency
What can I say, my reward for my sacrifice
Just isn't enough to suffice
I'm just turning around
cause my beating heart isn't allowed to make another sound
I'll never have a life with you
And second best is the most I can be and the most I can do

Snow white
A beauty with dark hair
Skin like alabaster
Lips red as a rose
No happy ever after
Not after her was an evil queen
But a predator, hunter
Dark angel with wings
But unlike the sparrow, he was never appeased
Yet there was no Apple
She ran to him freely
Hypnotized by his beauty
She fell completely
When he touched her, his hands like ice
He spread his wings, his grip vice
She was in a trance, feeling dizzy

Time
You have my past
You have my mind
You've broke my heart
You've stopped time
You stop me dead in my tracks
I'd turn around if you'd take me back
I'm a stone, a pillar of salt cause I turned my head
Fighting you isn't in me, I'd wind up dead
We both know I can't turn back time
Because you've captivated my mind
I can't have you but I won't let go

It's amazing what u can't live in
It's amazing what you can't live in
some call it the past, a former life
river of sorrows, insomnia at night
I can't give it a name
I just know I can't live there or I'll die from the pain
So alone today so I took some steps
recalling it all in a single breath
Started at age 3 where I saw my first parade,
Caught my first candy, Rode the merry go round
Smoked my first cigarette, threw it on the ground
Made my first wish at the fountain
Bought my mom her first gift with my own money,
a piano jewelry box from the pharmacy

You know(just feelings not really poetry)
You know letting go is a hard thing to do
It's even harder when you can't actually ever do it. I guess that's why they say it's hard. Or maybe I'm just pathetic could knock us both and say I'm desperate. Damn I wish I was desperate, then at least I could replace you with someone who was just another warm body. But I don't care about another body to keep me warm cause the only one I want is yours. The thought of someone else touching me makes my stomach turn. No need to ask for loyalty, cause it's already given. Not because you expect it, but I want no one else. Lips on my body, hands...

Life is a road traveled alone
Once upon a road a woman was walking
She had 2 companions whom were always talking
They were great company
She enjoyed their friendship
Many laughs on her long journey
Her female friend kept a smile on her face
The male companion kept his arm around her waist
She felt safe and secure
Happier than she'd been in quite some time of that she could be sure
Just so happened one peaceful afternoon
Her female friend decided she preferred the moon
And from that point, it would light the path for her feet to tread upon

One thing that from life ive learned
Its all about coming to terms
Come to terms with things that are hard
And to love, you must let down your guard
Come to terms with betrayal
Come to terms you didnt get into Yale
People will always let you down
And true peace is not easily found
Youll get back up, only to fall again
Amongst Mockers who follow trends
Come to terms you're not like all the rest
And that youll never be the best
Someone somewhere is better than you
But dont accept yourself as less valued

The Gem's pearl
A loner a lover im not sure what youd call me
Search beyond sands, search beyond seas
Constantly searching for stability
Belonging everywhere and no where
At the same time
searching for treasures i hope to find
Yet i dont know what im looking for
cause i dont even know who i am anymore
A girl in a womans physique
Burdened beyond what one would ever think
Cant make a wish from a dandelion stem
Or decide between a pearl and a gem

Make you smile, make you laugh
I remember when you told me you thought youd never feel again, but i made you feel something
And even now, i can see its nothing
