Can You Dig It?
Can You Dig It? ...
Let us cut from the chase
Dive in hearts first and not call it haste
See this... this ain’t new
It was there from the beginning,
and through the years it grew
You ain’t found her yet,
that’s because I’ve been here all along...
and your time spent alone...
Well because your search went stale,
your mind got it all wrong...
Your heart told you first
but you wouldn’t listen to him...
Then your friends spelled out the obvious
but you remained illiterate to them...
I can’t give it...
Let us cut from the chase

The Thunder in my Tears
The Thunder in My Tears
This morning I cried,
Last night I cried...
Yesterday afternoon and evening...
I cried!
Although I said there’s nothing wrong...
I lied...
Attempting to get over it...
I tried!
Pouring out tear after tear
Clutching my chest,
A heart full of fears
Breaking while dissipating
Slowly wasting... in this
Organic funk...
Scattered across the floor
One by one...
Journal after another,
Page after page
The same monotonous
Coding of my melancholy spilled out in...
This morning I cried,
Last night I cried...
Yesterday afternoon and evening...
I cried!
Although I said there’s nothing wrong...
I lied...
Attempting to get over it...
I tried!
Pouring out tear after tear
Clutching my chest,
A heart full of fears
Breaking while dissipating
Slowly wasting... in this

The Smoke in Your Eyes...
The Smoke in Your Eyes…
Sometimes I see the fumes,
They cloud your eyes
Something’s boiling upstairs
You feel blocked off to me
Your shoulder feels cold
And the tension seems old
But there it stays with you
Sometimes I can’t tell if it’s time
When your mood finally catches aflame
I try not to think about it, to let you be
But I can see the smoke
It’s right there in your eyes
And I just don’t know
When… when will it become worse?
There is great concern for you
Your wellbeing, your sense of seeing ...
Sometimes I see the fumes,

Falling Gracefully
Falling Gracefully
Today I sat under the pear tree
Leaned my back against its trunk
Propped up my legs and spilled inside my journal
The autumn chill felt much like winter
I wrote carefully my thoughts as they consumed my mind
Thinking seemed to be one tracked
“How to undo this web of mess I’ve begun”
The fervor of rage has taken my peace
Replaced it with fumes of detestation
Breeding inside was a declared destruction
For once,
I saw outside myself, to look inward
Epiphanies weren’t new ideas
Just...

Intimate kisses, soft and explosive
Your touch stimulating to every portion
Sensations of an erotic surge
My mental feeding into the urge
Oh yeah, I’m wanting me some you
Your embrace, so warm
You hold me tight
And I don’t want you to let me go
In your arms, I feel secure
I enfold into you

His kisses below were like worshiping
The way his tongue reached the heart of my femininity
As he dove and splash into my delicate flowering
I anticipated each touch as a shockwave of foreign innocence
I had been discovered in the most intimate way
My eyes closed, slightly then tightly

Your Energy
At times I feel your energy,
Something inside emerges me
A feeling I just can’t get a hold
A yearn that grows old
And I’m all in my feelings
Just wanting to inhale your breath
Close enough to recognize your pores
Face to face
Intensity that carries me throughout the day
Needing to be close
At times I feel your energy,
A strong sensation that drives me insane,
Something I’ve learned to contain, but relive
Explosions within, I want you to know,
That each day, it’s you I feel

I could filter what I say
But I word my intentions precise
I could dress it up to make it sound pretty
But that wouldn’t be very nice
I could trim my thoughts
Or let them fade in essence
State exactly how I feel
Let known of my presence
I’ve once been there…
Fancied my words with declaration
Temptress my words
With flirty sensations
I can be quite assertive
Tell you what I want & how it needs to be
Curl your toes with influence
Change my tone and dish out the sexy

Remembered Pain
Remembered Pain
If ever was a time I was grateful,
I’d willingly and openly admit,
It is in every remembrance of my pain
Although I wouldn’t want to revisit it
Appreciative of every tear I cried
And every dire experience,
If it were not for the dreadful,
I could not have exercised my resilience
Sometimes, parts of me miss the sadness...
For it became portioned of my identity,
Much of it helped to rebuild my character,
Defining my life as I discovered serenity within me
Both light and dark are shades of me...
If ever was a time I was grateful,

The Melody
When the melody dies within,
When the bass of the drums no longer carries you
I will be there to sing you a song
When the tears are filled within your eyes,
The watery substance runs down your cheeks,
I shall comfort you within my warming embrace
When you have lost and feel sorrowful,
I will console you, your pain I will borrow
So that you may laugh again
