Depression
Images of happiness dance across my mind,
Dodging and dancing away when I attempt to grab them,
With every step my happiness is taken away from me,
My demeanor darkens and I plunge into sorrow and sadness,
The sun's now a shadow casting rays of dark instead of rays or light,
I welcome the rain for it gives me the chance to cry and blame the gentle drops,
On my best days I'm gloomy no spark of interest for anything,
As if the nighttime decided to stay,
Making every waking moment dark and cold,
I ponder if I can go on,
Nothing's alive I'm no...

Burnt
Can I hang on?
To the jagged remains,
Of what I called "Us",
I call your name into the pit of lost cause hoping you would come up,
Instead,
Cold grasps me replacing your warm embrace,
The chill closing my heart ,
The only part of me left alive after you broke me,
Now that goes out like you and I,
Leaving me mummified,
Wrapped in despair and heartbreak,
And now a flame lights up anything we had,
Leaving what we were,
Burnt

Shards
An icy chill grips me,
As cold as your heart,
Our flow of love stops,
From the barrier of another,
So now I ask,
Where is my heart?
Does it still remain with you?
Or is it crushed upon the jagged rocks of love?
I ponder this as I slowly drift away,
Into the walls,
Into the paint,
Into a hole,
Filled with broken shards,
Shards of me
As cold as your heart,
Our flow of love stops,

So now I ask,

I will be your rock,
Your pillow to rest upon,
Your shoulder to cry on,

Tricked By Love
Over and over,
I ponder your faith,
Your love for me,
For one moment my world is lit up by you,
Then the next it is darkened,
Fool me once,
Fool me forever,
If love is a master then I am its slave,
Yet once I turn around I see you with another,
Over and over,
Tricked by love,
And so this is how I am destined to be

Scars
These scars I can't erase have seared themselves in my mind,
I yearn to forget the moments we shared together,
For it was fake and taints the true love we once had,
So I choose to end it all with one fatal blow,
One that ends it all,
Leaving me stranded,
Isolated,
Cold and Gone

Broken
Like a broken bottle on the floor,
A lover unloved,
I am broken,
My heart in two,
Broken by you,
You have both pieces in your grasp,
Leaving a shadow of my former self,
Ever so slowly crushing the remains you hold,
As if two weren't enough,
I am engulfed in grief,
At the loss of my heart and self,
And also of you,
For you leave me in a state of heart,
That cannot be fixed,
One that is broken,
Forevermore
