Gone
She was my always and forever
Never would I have imagined
Our relationship would come to an end.
My online girl who became,
My lover
My confidant
My best friend.
Maybe not in that order
But to no one’s surprise
Countless lies produced separate ties
A relationship on the demise
Where did our love go wrong?
The day I tried calling her on the phone,
The day I rushed home,
To only discover a note on the front door that read gone.
Like the wind
All emotions begin to sink in
I sit in silence
Looking up at the sky
Asking...

The Takeover
Seems I have gotten myself lost
In a maze of a powdery white substance
That has taken over my life.
My dreams done faded away
Into complete darkness
No control
A lost soul
Candy has taken over me.
My behavior done changed
At least that’s what I’m told
For I feel just fine
Aunt Nora is one hell of a drug
Glad this lady is mine.

If these were my last and final words to you I would have to tell you this,
I love you.
No matter how you feel towards me
I will always love you.
For you bring laughter into my life

Warms my soul
My spirit on a natural high.

Suicidal Thoughts
I’m on an emotional roller coaster ride
My direction is down
Going through hoops
Looking like a dried up raisin
With no brand
Not even worth two scoops.
Shoot me with a shot gun
One to the dome I roam in silence
Pain paints mental images of me dying violently.
Without my love I see no future
Stuck in the past
Not wanting to be in the present,
I glance outside
Pain now paints mental images of me attempting suicide.
Suicide?
Is this my escape?
As I walk to the kitchen drawer
To grab the rope
Life for me has no meaning...

Power of a Voice
We talked the night away until the morning came upon us.
Feeling so refreshed more alive than I've ever felt
I could have talked with this woman for a lifetime
Without any lost words spoken between us.
She has captured my heart
My soul burns for the chance to hear her lovely voice yet again.
Soft spoken words melodies of heaven
I could dance to the rhythmic sounds of every word she speaks
Could it be that I'm falling in love?
Oh no that cannot be for I have yet to grace her face
A picture just won't do
But it's not a physically attraction that...

If I had three wishes
They would to be with you, just you, and only you
That is how you make me feel.
Like dancing, romancing, holding you in my arms
You're my sweet marsh mellow my favorite lucky charm.
You have me sick with love
And your touch is all the medicine I need to get through any tough time.
I love you girl,
But I guess you knew this by hearing my first line.
I'm excited to be with you
Blessed to have you
No one can steal my joy
For my love burns like the sun
You are my numero uno

Rich For You
If I had a penny for everytime I thought of you
I would be a billionaire and I question myself
Is it fair that I, this black man, the black man in me
Have Received God's blessing for he has put heaven right in front of me?
Simply put Lovely you are simply beautiful
Tears fall down my face not because I'm sad
It's because not often do I see the sunset, the moon glow
Flowers bloom, you make me so happy and proud as a man to be getting to know you.

Nowhere to run Nowhere to hide
Nowhere to run
Nowhere to hide
A perfect song to express
The feelings I have inside of me.
You see,
I have nowhere to run
To escape the pain
That burns inside my heart.
Nowhere to hide
From having suicidal thoughts.
Caught in a web of deceit,
Love have produced life changes
Love has stolen the goodness in me.
Destroyed,
Crushed,
Bury my soul
Let my spirit escape
Into a world of no pain
For love have put a stain on my heart
That I cannot wash away.
I wonder,
