Poetry is my voice for change. I have 12 kids with my husband of 22 years. The poetry I write comes from books, movies, and most of all, from my life. Finally squeezed out of me by my nature like a long held breath.

MAGA is The Kraken
Politicians
beneath her feet
power brokers have
the mere strength of
a watch battery
to her blazing
thermonuclear
reactions
firefighters
cannot extinguish
this blazing truth
while Twitter
roars like a dragon
her enemies
overclock their mental
until gears spring loose
Yet they cannot
stop her ruthless
hunting of
their treasured monster
She is released
upon the crooked
Feel her fury
beneath her feet

Dysfunctional thinking
is on the defensive
and here come
its advocates
The generals
really want to
be your shrinks
They say your
distress is
their adaptive
warfare tool
so you must not
internally dialogue
Metaphysics
of the victim

Because boundaries
reduce conflicts
like seeing inside
versus outside
...first they must war
against Cognitive
Behavior...

A whole nation
dishonored

no mercy

under dirty masks

quarantined

left to die
as though you could
live alone
social creature

howls of misery
aggressive words
cacophony
When Left stabs
all to their right
demanding
that we say
their own names
as they fall
(in their mind
social victims)
those who are
bleeding out
seem to be
stabbing the
potential
heroes of
their own crisis
(in the literal
and figurative)
With every reach
for revenge
