I don't have one style. Sometimes my poems rhyme, sometimes they have alliteration or just a simple rythm or none of the above. I like writing relatable poems.

Transparent
I wish you were see through
So I could pretend you weren't here
So I could breath
So you would leave
But you wouldn't disappear
I wouldn't be confronted with your face
I wouldn't have to think about the lies
I wouldn't think about the waste
Of future I saw in your eyes
You said: "I love you"
When looking into mine
It turned out not to be true
Though I know you tried
Please be more transparent
So I wouldn't be alone
You could still be my friend
You would still be right there
I could breath
Not empty ...
So I could pretend you weren't here

So you would leave

Close to worthy
I was perfect
Close to perfect at least
As close as I can be
Considerate, sweet, caring
Open, honest, attentive
Witty, fun, sharing
Everything a guy could want or need
I wanted to be more than your person
A concept, an ideal, a dream
Little things I prepared
You didn't notice
My smiles and glances were pre-planned
You didn't notice
The make-up, with the dress, with your necklace
You didn't notice
I didn't mind
As long as I was perfect
You would have to stay
So it would all be perfect ...
Close to perfect at least
As close as I can be

I have to make you smaller
An atom of a molecule
Even tinier so you can't do
Whatever made me fall and
You'll get your old face back
Nothing cute or sexy
Just kind and friendly
Because your face made mine red
I guess it still does

Oxytocin deficit
You were a high
Walking on air every day
Living on oxytocin
Your words built my world
A princess in her palace
Adored and admired
I followed your eyes
Studied your face
Absorbed your emotions
So yes, you were most of my thoughts
My ideas, my dreams, my mind
Then you cut my supply
I live in ruins now
Empty and undead
Looking for those eyes
In an oxytocin deficit
From when you were mine

How to kill a butterfly?
How do you kill a butterfly?
One that has been flying for over a year
One we have nourished together
One that flutters and dances and fills me
How do you squeeze the life out of such a beautiful creature?
My stomach seems to do it for me
Gnawing and turning and tearing
Wing after wing
Leg after leg
It is crying
Or I am
But it keeps fighting
Why won't it just die?
One that has been flying for over a year
One we have nourished together
One that flutters and dances and fills me

She is fire, strong uncontrollable fire
The vains in her body boil her blood
She exhales only smoke and ash
Burning her trachea on its way up
A curse, a force
But ignored
He sits, he breaths, he thinks, he handles
Both feet on a path to a logical future
His comfort is unearned confidence
Laughing at pretension and insincerity
Unsettling, admirable
But fenced
He can feel her heat
Burning and smoking through his skin
She can hear thumping
Like an earthquake shaking her ground
He now...

When just smiling doesn't work anymore
When believing is hoping for a closed door
Can't be me when I have nothing in store
Feeling my feelings has me feeling sore
No use in saying what always gets ignored
Like nothing matters cause what is nothing for
You make my way then want to change like
Making sentence every like to rearrange like
Causing to phrases like phases fade away
Dreaming of you stops the forever sleeping
Nothing matters but now nothing has meaning
And this phrase of me is the one I'm keeping

I've said I love you
Two million times in three thousand ways
In five hundred rhymes in four hundred days
And you said I love you too
Will tomorrow keep that truth?
Or will it lose its meaning

Say it won't happen to you?
When questioning is everything
Doom pending on me remembering

A spiral transcending anything you do
My anxiety turns you mute

On the balcony
There are no stars
But there are lights
Of lampposts and cars
He pointed to a corner
And there she saw
A single firefly
She almost cried
At the obvious metaphor
She's had a slight dim
From the year before
When she saw him at his worst
And reached out
Now that the roles are reversed
She's so proud
And happy she chose him

Pictures
The faces on your screen
No pores or pimples
Big eyes and cute noses
Are twenty but look sixteen
Like they're meant to be seen
They have big chests
Big thighs
But not from fat or cellulite
They have muscles that can jiggle
Long legs and their waists snatched
And my stupid self will never match
Their beauty and glow
You like them I know
If I could change my body
I would make me
A little bit taller
My waist a lot smaller
My eyes a lot bigger
I'd have that hourglass figure
Maybe then I'd believe...

I've already made memories
Of magic
Of friends
Of rollercoaster screams
I've already made mistakes
In clubs
While dancing
With my alcohol intake
I've already been through it
