POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
The only things of any real value... lay beyond the reach of reason to ensnare.
Poem XIV
Living on, soon to fly
Oh how many times I have died
Suspended in venomous air
Staked through the chest
In the bowels of despair
Friend becomes foe
Family a fucking plague
Beneath the bastions of cognizance
Where the roots of life lay
A perversion of me
The degradation of my name
Pointing gnarled fingers
At the shells of the decayed
Me, the undesired
That even vultures refuse
The pellet of the owl
Spat upon writhing forest grounds
Flesh dispersed in silence
Devoid of supple passersby
Only known to...

Poem xiii
Whispers flicker forth
From the edge of the flame
Dancing across the hollow
Through the spider’s web
Crashing into the dim walls
Erupting into small clouds
Of dust and anguish
Even in the candlelight
It is grey
Searching for the stairs
In shifting labyrinthine dream
As the baleful walls bend low
And the floors rise up in malice
The crumbling ceiling caves away
Into ever rolling black abyss
Gazing intently down
While the screaming doors around me
Make no sound
Clenching are the hands of madness
All around my...

Poem XII
If the past should sleight our senses
And prevail within the apparent now
Could we tear down restrictive fences?
At long last satisfy our silent vow?
Can you feel it? Feel it in your mind
The intricate weave of the regressive lines
Spinning, unforming a life as they wind
Departed present though each present pines
Lines of antiquity dance into the distance
Their stories played out as silk in life’s web
Vast experience holding up this instance
As the primordial mother laughs over Geb
In shifting...

Poem XI
Ceaseless ardent searching, I can have no rest
I am all but consumed by the fire in my chest
What threatens to sever my every heart string
Is the unknowing of what to which I cling
For all hard fought truths afforded to this life
Are detritus in the wake of my terrible strife
Words were conceived so mankind could lie
But to those possessed they can only try
Emptiness begets emptiness in this barren land
We are all subject to the deed of our hand
The subject that evokes the wildest scream
None who has ever walked this...

Poem X
And here we are again
My constant companion
Alone with the dark
All feelings bereft
If ever they were at all
At days tormented end
Twilight, dawn of night
You are by my side
Shadow to the left
My faithless only friend
In the thrall of nothing
Anything cannot be
The unspoken madness
Grows out its tendrils
To caress the tattered veil
Looming behind the mirror
Ravenously awaiting
To seep into the other side
To manifest the vision
Of an all penetrating gaze
The cycle nears fruition
And the...

Poem ix
Crawling along the precipice slowly, slowly
Halt to gaze out into a vast oppressive gloom
Where stifling fog conceals the sleeping titans
Reducing them to amorphous silhouettes
Have to get moving, there is no time, no time
Panic approaches from the distant of the mind
It inflames the dire task at brittle hand
One untrue step will meet one with their end
Push on ahead ever winding, ever winding
Palms sweat profusely with each trembling step
Dislodged rocks fall forever...

Where stifling fog conceals the sleeping titans
Reducing them to amorphous silhouettes
Have to get moving, there is no time, no time

Poem VIII
Blind living in society is woe
For few "free" lifeless years our youth we sow
Oh subtle chains, obsession be thy name
Amassing mundane ephemera is the aim
No music of the soul, they’ll try to steal the bow
What potential spent we are not to know
Constant regimentation, all the same
For the wild liberated spirit they came
Life be a grand mystery, this is sure
I cannot think of a more profound quest
Then to dive into those depths and explore
Be brutally self-honest to be pure
To fill the empty feeling in the chest
The...

Poem ºvii
Every morning I awake
To black cascading dawn
Mourning love never wrought
And yet already gone
Her serpent tongue whispers
Tempting me with her lies
All those dreadful secrets
Beyond thought to surmise
She bids me to come and I follow
Through tunnels of darkness
Her embrace is reassuring
Her betrayal stands in starkness
Decrepit years slowly crawl by
The damage is done it seems
Through staph infected wounds
She proceeds to torcher my dreams
Even though I’m not awake
In vain I struggle to...

Poem vi
Perceiving
Incessant taking in
Need to breath out
That I may begin
Retrieving
Keys that were lost
The Mephistopheles
To my Faust
Conceiving
Beyond reason
Planting the seed
For the harvest season
Reprieving
Till work be done
Always fighting
So I can be none
Deceiving
Myself unto I
In clouded thoughts
I cast my dye
Believing
All hope is lost
Waging this war
Has taken its cost
Achieving
Unraveling time
I Cast out to sea
The unsublime
Incessant taking in
Need to breath out
That I may begin
Retrieving
Keys that were lost
The Mephistopheles
To my Faust
Conceiving
Beyond reason
Planting the seed
For the harvest season

Poem V
Baneful is this path I tread
Though others be near
Through a veil they behold
A wistful eidolon
A shell dead and gone
Ever winding, scarcely trodden
This is treacherous tale
Thistles always be near
A vacant light in the distance
A hopeless disposition in trance
The trees are writhing, unfree
The depths are rising
They cry out in horror
A rueful voice always be near
A fresh kill it longs to shear
Fog thick to blot out the sun
Thorns cut brought by the wind
Thrones smile a deceiving grin
A desolate end it is...
Though others be near
Through a veil they behold
A wistful eidolon
A shell dead and gone
Ever winding, scarcely trodden
This is treacherous tale
Thistles always be near

Poem IV
Oh putrid promulgation
Most reviled of revelations
Thy deceptive dance displayed
Flickering fetid across the Firmament
Derived be thy didactic decadence
From a horrid hallow harmony
A multifarious malformed monotone
Slip now sallow into silence
From thy sordid sleep
Succumb to the unsound
Exorior Mortis Infinitum
Most reviled of revelations
Thy deceptive dance displayed
Flickering fetid across the Firmament
Derived be thy didactic decadence
From a horrid hallow harmony
A multifarious malformed monotone
Slip now sallow into silence
From thy sordid sleep
Succumb to the unsound
Exorior Mortis Infinitum

Poem ii
To tread upon grass and earth and stone
Is to tread on fallen empires, flesh and bone
Once raised high in honor and glory
Ravenous earth has razed their story
Those once whispered in tongues to fire
While in blackened lurking did death conspire
Through brightest days’ celebration lauding
The dragon’s tail swept marauding
Battlements made and were preparations ever
Still ill prepared, inadequate for the never
Repent now, shame and mourn your sin
Mourn for tomorrow is growing thin
Who are you, were you...
Is to tread on fallen empires, flesh and bone
Once raised high in honor and glory
Ravenous earth has razed their story
Those once whispered in tongues to fire
While in blackened lurking did death conspire
Through brightest days’ celebration lauding
The dragon’s tail swept marauding
