Just Hang On
I feel the pleasure
to replace the pain
and is it just a crutch
to survive?
It has been a tough go
this year,
this week
My spirit lost
in the thickness
of mounting issues
to deal with
and of course,
I want to escape
from it
this medicated heart
trying to pump enough
to pull through
the tension
to find value
in persevering
even if
if it is lonely as hell
I'm trying to see
that there is something more
beyond the quicksand
that is trying to pull me...

Your exhibitionism draws me
to want to know those deeper secrets
the ones that thrill
in quiet moments
that few know about
And I want to do nothing more than encourage you
to spill those treasures
my own heat
inspired by those daring entanglements
perhaps living vicariously

because maybe I'm just too afraid
to push over that edge
and allow myself to explore
my own interest
because all I've ever known
is that haphazard interest
feeling like a passable option

Putting It Off
Another lazy day
recuperating from another long work week
avoiding chores
to indulge in fantasy
sexual, of course
Wishing you'd drop by
to help take this edge off
(you know what I'm talking about, don't you?)
It could still be low key
but instead of a space heater and a blanket
I'd have you to keep me warm
We'd attempt to watch a movie
but it wouldn't take long
and my mouth would be on you and in you
and you would take my firmness in your hand

Evidence Of A Turn On
She was the first to ask
and it led to such arousal
knowing she wanted
me to pay tribute
Her instructions
were pretty specific,
and it was necessary

She referred to it as proof.

I'll Put My Wager On The Lust
Depression and arousal
not always ideal partners,
these past few weeks
I want to get there
unleash my heat,
but there is that voice
getting in the way
So obvious,
scrolling through these dating sites
my imagination fired
by delights offered,
but I just keep swiping,
reservations
and that lack of confidence
holding me back
It gets me no closer
to being able to part you,
to slow kiss and harden
and to be consumed
The pressure of that milestone birthday
isn't helping... ...

it came
(and so did he)
automatically...
He reveled in the opportunity
-the unspoken attraction
and the subsequent reaction
provoked by a chance meeting
or finding common ground
among a former acquaintance
The excitement of discovery
was motivation enough
and he grew to appreciate
the contrasts of others
- the differing shapes and movements
that offered that seal of delight
He wasn't reckless, by any means
or even someone who played the game ...
