Living a Lie
I remember the cold creeping in. It was so cold, I was shaking. But, it really wasn't all that cold. I suppose, I was more more jittery than anything. I sat on your bed, facing you. I just watched you, shivering, but not speaking. I wondered if you could hear my heartbeat, it felt like a drum. Yet, we were only just sitting together. He wasn't really talking either, just playing some sort of game on his iPod with a cracked screen. He was sort of mumbling (now that I think about it, he was talking to me directly) about how difficult the game was.

I had never felt so alone
Until that moment
I was completely alone. You,

What was I Expecting?
So, I tell you the truth.
I tell you everything.
I gave it all away,
And you let me waste away.
