Liberation
The cry sweet on your lips
Echoing upon the world
Christened by the cry of the Dove
Awakened by the Raven's shriek
"Raise a glass to ignorance,
the fellowship of lost sheep
has been sheared once more
Behold the lost flock,
for they are beholden in the realm of false rule,"
Sirien's songs sound from tyrants' lips
You listen, yet another face in the crowd
Yet another of the falsified flock,
Listening to a false prophet

The cry died the same day it was uttered

A rose by any other name is just as sweet, except in your presence

The Scarlet Raindrop
Shake off the scarlet dew
Watch and wait for the crimson rain to take hold
Only a spirit left forgotten in the ancient shell
Flesh stretched paper thin
Over the war washed body
Left to be torn asunder in the windswept plain
Grey, the water which laps at the precipice of humanity's brink
Black, now the fevered dye of man's soul
Crimson cloaked over a scarlet wish
Kissed by madness
Rent asunder by love and war, serendipity and abhorrence
Furthered by the goal of supremacy
Desolated by thought of lawful genocide
Watch and wait for the crimson rain to take hold

Is it streaked with red
Or painted blue?
Look at the sky
Do the stars shine brightly
Or are they subdued?
