The fortelling dreams
have become my reality
as I spiral down the invisible stair.

Images of people lost pass before me
Their saddened faces pierce through my soul
Their voices I hear yelling
Begging for my eyes to open
Telling me to breathe in deep and stay alive
 
Crying and pleaing for me
to wipe my tears and hold on tight
He appears before me his words are full of despair
You've come too far little one
To hit bottom this night.

Why do I see your face so vividly?
I hear your voice
And your laugh so clearly.

I remember your touch
I know your warmth
The way youwould hold me.

The softness of your lips
When you'd hold my face
To kiss me.

I remember the strength of your arms
When you'd wrap them around me
The sound of your heart
The feeling I would get
When I knew you were watching me
The happiness I would feel
When I looked into your eyes.

Why can't I forget
Why do I have to remember
All that is gone?
