Stress
Stress
Staring out the window.
Spreadsheet on the computer.
Figures for review.
5 O'clock decision demanded.
But I stare out the window.
Only figure on my mind is yours.
How you just pop up in my thoughts.
Distract me from my tasks.
Maybe it was a scent,
or work drudgery,
that made my mind wander.
Tough decision,
much pressure and stress.
But there I am laying in bed,
you caressing my chest.
Dam'it, focus!
Less I concentrate,
the more I stress.
Decision make, ...

Commute
On my commute,
music playing, hot wake-up in a cup.
"You shook me all night long" - AC/DC.
Makes me think back to her.
Met at a club, cocktails flowing.
For once, I was smooth.
She let me make a move.
Smile comes to my lips.
Right hand adjusts,
left hand on the wheel.
Feeling good, wind flowing.
Subliminal finger check,
her scent no longer.
Crap, was that a red light!
Music turned down.
Throat dry, cup to lips.
