Song of Storms
Feel the wind
Feel the rain
Feel the mighty hurricane
Lightning strikes the ground
Thunder rings abound
Feel the snow
Feel the ice
Feel the blizzard’s avarice
Let’s all sing the Song of the Storms
All of hope
Is a lie
Hear the lost and lonely cry
Dark clouds fill the air
Fear is everywhere
Shut the door
Bow your head
Feel the touch of icy dread
Listen to the Song of the Storms
Don’t lose hope
Please don’t die
Waiting for an open sky
Time can...
Feel the rain
Feel the mighty hurricane
Lightning strikes the ground
Thunder rings abound
Feel the snow
Feel the ice
Feel the blizzard’s avarice
Let’s all sing the Song of the Storms
All of hope
Is a lie
Hear the lost and lonely cry
Dark clouds fill the air
Fear is everywhere
Shut the door
Bow your head
Feel the touch of icy dread
Listen to the Song of the Storms
Don’t lose hope
Please don’t die
Waiting for an open sky

The spider and the fly
Come into my parlor, said the spider to the fly.
Never realizing,
just how much he’d make her cry.
Blinded by her selfishness, she noticed far too late.
He slipped on through her spider web,
and past her eyes of eight.
Never realizing,
just how much he’d make her cry.
Blinded by her selfishness, she noticed far too late.
He slipped on through her spider web,
and past her eyes of eight.

Child of the Wood
Forgotten child, thrown away,
the forest calls you out to play.
The time has not yet come to sleep,
so come to see the woodland keep.
The great old herd shall be your guide,
you needn’t feel the urge to hide.
Lies and hate have no place here,
for they mean pain and pain means fear.
The forest heights will be your home,
and you shall never be alone.
For just as you have life and breath,
so doth the land you make your nest.
Your teachers be the ancient song,
of untold greatness far far gone.
The misty trees,...
the forest calls you out to play.

Numbers
It’s a shame that
as numbers rise
larger and larger
bigger than life
our understanding
gets smaller
less and less
as the numbers rise
until one death is a tragedy
and one million is a statistic
as numbers rise
larger and larger
bigger than life
our understanding
gets smaller
less and less
as the numbers rise
until one death is a tragedy
and one million is a statistic

Luck to Wind
When I first met you
I thought you were a fool
Letting yourself be pushed around
By the breeze with no complaint
I trapped you in my voice
And blew you where I wished
Confident it’d work out
I’m lucky like that
But I’ve used myself up
On things that don’t matter
And by the time I realized,
You were slipping through my fingers
My luck had run out
You were gone with the wind
I guess my karma’s caught up
I thought you were a fool
Letting yourself be pushed around
By the breeze with no complaint
I trapped you in my voice
And blew you where I wished
Confident it’d work out
I’m lucky like that
But I’ve used myself up
On things that don’t matter
And by the time I realized,
You were slipping through my fingers
My luck had run out
You were gone with the wind
I guess my karma’s caught up

Frozen Chaos
She stands on the bank of a small pond
Pondering
Wondering
The sky is dark, thick boiling clouds block the midday sun
The wind howls
Thunder rumbles across the land
A flash lightens the world with an ear shattering
BOOM
But the pond is still
Her dress does not flutter
The trees do not shake
A frozen moment of peace in a world of chaos
She is a marble statue
In a garden of brittle glass
Pondering
Wondering
The sky is dark, thick boiling clouds block the midday sun
The wind howls
Thunder rumbles across the land
A flash lightens the world with an ear shattering
BOOM
But the pond is still
Her dress does not flutter
The trees do not shake
A frozen moment of peace in a world of chaos
She is a marble statue
In a garden of brittle glass

Crystal Ball
Crystal ball, crystal ball
Mirror mirror on the wall
Tell me life is beautiful
Even if you lie
Crystal ball, crystal ball
Answer my unworthy call
Give me back a light to see
In this world of black
Crystal ball, crystal ball
I fear the day that I do fall
I’m fading in, I’m fading out
Like a broken moon
Crystal ball, crystal ball
I was warned of my nightfall
Clear as your abyssal depth
So my path has been
Crystal ball, crystal ball
Mirror standing oh so tall
I say...
Mirror mirror on the wall
Tell me life is beautiful
Even if you lie
Crystal ball, crystal ball
Answer my unworthy call
Give me back a light to see
In this world of black
Crystal ball, crystal ball
I fear the day that I do fall
I’m fading in, I’m fading out
Like a broken moon
Crystal ball, crystal ball
I was warned of my nightfall
Clear as your abyssal depth
So my path has been
Crystal ball, crystal ball
Mirror standing oh so tall
