When a mind draws blank
I've stared down your endless white seas,
Waiting for you to grab me.
I've seen the black oily fluid in my utensil,
Waiting for it to flow.
But no matter what I tried,
No matter what happened..
It just wouldn't show.
I've cracked my brain,
I've had fun and I've known sorrow.
I've tried a whole lot more of life,
In the little time that I could borrow.
But the words just wouldn't come.
Waiting for you to grab me.

But no matter what I tried,
No matter what happened..
It just wouldn't show.

~Little Girl~
Little girl.. don't you put a lock on your life..
You have alot more ahead of you.
You drown your sorrows out,
You feel as if you should hide..
Your "escape" isn't booze.
Little girl don't keep everything hidden inside.
There's far more out there than you believe.
Please don't give up, promise me..
You can have fun again,
if you'll only have a sense of pride.

UPBEAT INSPIRATIONAL POEM

Life
As I cast my gaze upon the stars,
I wonder..
It's breathtaking to know how small we are.
But what lies yonder?
Is there life beyond what we can see?
As my eyes grow weary I can't help but ponder.
I'm on a journey called living,
Taking things one day at a time.
And with every step I take my heart grows fonder.
This long, hard walk is far from over.
We have yet to discover the rest.
I'll keep on moving,
Putting my skills to the test.
As I grow ever stronger.
I wonder..

My blue heart
Show me where the sun doth shine,
show me how to find,
Find this blue heart of mine.
A love so cold,
never to be felt.
Never to behold.
Tell me something I don't yet know.
Tell me that somehow all I've ever planted..
Shall never grow.
My blue heart,
please show me what I have done wrong.
I thought I was able to do it on my own..
You told me I couldn't.
You were right all along.
show me how to find,
Find this blue heart of mine.

DRUGS POEM

No escape from reality
It rushed through my veins,
Burning in my blood.
My limbs are heavy and my eyes are red,
Finally away from running this rat race.
Normally it's gone after an hour or so,
But this time it stays.
My thoughts get ahead of me,
My head above the clouds..
Lost in time and space.
I didn't think it would end,
But now the flames in my veins are doused.
And so I lit another one.
Burning in my blood.
My limbs are heavy and my eyes are red,
Finally away from running this rat race.

But this time it stays.

Redemption
Right now, everything is as it should be.
I don't know if it's just me,
But I'm done lingering on what could be.
I used to be like a leaf, clinging..
Desperately hanging on the branch of a tree.
Now I'm more the delightful laughter of a child.
Bringing joy, my heart filled with nothing less than glee.
We all get hurt, and wounds can heal..
And mostly I'm way too focused on myself,
Trying to figure out how I should feel.
But I've found my balance,
I've finally got up, instead of always having to kneel.
Never backing down for nothing,...
I don't know if it's just me,
But I'm done lingering on what could be.

I miss you..
"It'll all work out for the best.."
She said softly as she laid her head on my chest.
The way she said it comforted me,
I couldn't picture myself without her.
But then again,
a sense of doubt clouded my mind.
My heartbeat made her feel safe,
Oh, how the thumping sound set her at ease.
I decided to close my eyes for a bit..
Waking up as bright stars filled the otherwise dark sky,
"Damn." I thought as I looked around the room.
The taste of her sweet strawberry lipgloss..
Stained on my cold, dry lips..
A broken glass on the...

Succubus
Everywhere you go,
Hell soon follows.
A thousand heartbroken men,
hanging from the gallows..
I've been watching you.
Tell me,
Why is your heart so shallow?
You keep them on a leash,
Telling them it'll be okay.
Driving them insane..
Your words puncture their hearts..
Like poisoned arrows.
I know you're desperate,
And now that you've run out of ammo..
You'll never hear me coming for you,
Since I've been hiding in your shadow.

Moving on
Life is what we make of it,
sometimes we forget this.
Although I can't put up with this shit,
I guess I should've let this.
Man was not made to be happy all the time..
But sure, feelings get amplified.
I'm taking back everything I said, and I know for certain that I'll do this without regret.
Try to understand how this was simply a waste, a gigantic waste of my time.
My life is not yours, not ours..
No, it's mine.
nothing seems the same anymore,
times have changed, and so have i.
if we don't belong together..
i guess this is goodbye....

Struggle within
I don't know who I am..
One day I'm fine,
Feeling great.
Other days I feel lost,
Cold shivers crawling down my spine..
Filled with hate.
Looking for an escape,
No matter what the cost.
I try to keep my mind occupied,
Switch my feelings off and carry on..
But the truth is that I'm terrified.
Of losing you, losing myself.
I fear that I'm about done.
One day I'm fine,
Feeling great.
Other days I feel lost,
Cold shivers crawling down my spine..
Filled with hate.
Looking for an escape,
No matter what the cost.
I try to keep my mind occupied,

The illusion
I never thought I'd ever say this..
I've seen a few many people,
Knew many faces.
Never actually went the distance.
When I thought my new mindset could take me places.
Life is complicated as a whole..
With alot of lessons and alot of stages.
It has a few turns, straight roads.
And alot of mazes.
We like to say we're born free..
While we know that deep inside,
We're all living in cages.
I've seen a few many people,

Never actually went the distance.
When I thought my new mindset could take me places.
Life is complicated as a whole..

Wishes~
I wish upon a falling star..
You seem so close,
And yet so far.
Time flies by surprisingly fast,
I wish you didn't have to go..
I wish this would last.
Oh, falling star won't you just stay?
Don't leave me just yet,
I got one more wish if that's okay?
I'm searching for a purpose,
The one thing that matters.
It hinders my path,
My choices are scattered.
Won't you find me when the time is right?
If you can hold that promise,
I'll make another wish tonight.
You seem so close,
And yet so far.
