"Heaven"
"Heaven's in your eyes" he said.
I'm not too sure were your looking,
the world took that away from her years ago.
All that's left is a cold, hard feeling.
Look a little closer next time.
Maybe then you'll see.
The "heavens" looking back at you
The demons inside; They see.
I'm not too sure were your looking,
the world took that away from her years ago.
All that's left is a cold, hard feeling.
Look a little closer next time.
Maybe then you'll see.
The "heavens" looking back at you
The demons inside; They see.

Scars
It's scary to sit there and think about where your next scar should be.
It's a permanent mark that people are open to judge.
Can't wear anything too revealing unless you're prepared to be judged.
Then you sit back to this cold, hard realization of what the fuck has your life become.
You shouldn't have to be so cautious when living everyday life.
To analyze so much could tear a person apart.
No one should have to live like this.

The Petrol Heart && The Dream Catcher
I knew a boy who couldn't be caught in the moment.
Scared to stop moving.
Numb.
He had to keep going.
Couldn't savor the world on his tong.
Scared his past would catch up on him.
Petrol heart; Kept moving.
He loved a girl.
Who spent her days as a dream catcher.
She lived for a moment, letting it pass so she could enjoy the next. She loved what she saw...
..until it came to herself.
He loved her.
Every imperfection; he loved more.
He thought she could be stubborn to live like the ocean.
Chaotic to calm flow.
She made him...
