Just A Thought
Just a thought...
Nasty thoughts pervade a twisted mind
The smile is gone, forever
The laughter a mere memory, fading fast
Promises made with the sunrise sink into the horizon
Tears of a thousand empty words run dry
This, is your design
This, is your fate
Destiny turns her back to you
Fortune hides his face from you
The pit lies open, engulfing your soul
Your heart, broken, is buried in grief
Alone
The truth of the universe revealed at last
Life is fiction...
Make of it what you will

I Feel Like Writing Today
I feel like writing today
Nothing in particular, just words on paper
But all I can think about is you
Your voice, your eyes, your touch
I don’t know what it is but I crave you
There is a hunger in me I can’t satisfy
A deep desire I can’t ignore
It drives me crazy, makes me mad
I feel like writing today
Nothing in particular, just words on paper
But, again, all I think about is you
I swear to myself that I don’t like this
These emotions confuse me, drain me
But I can’t lie, I love the way you make me feel
My mind refuses to focus on...

Puppet Master
I know how you operate
You pretend to be the victim, pretend to be helpless
But I see the strings coming out of your hands
Puppet Master
You wear a chain around your ankle and a noose around your neck
You carry your own executioner, assemble your own gallows
You soak your body in gasoline, fill your pockets with gunpowder
Construct a minefield around yourself and burn the map
You claim to be innocent, flash your vulnerability
But your closet is lined with the bones of a thousand demons
You bury the corpses in the ground
But the earth turns...

Die in my hands my love
I will watch you take your last breath
Die in my hands my love
I will wait until your heart stops beating
Die in my hands my love
I feel your body slowly turn cold
Die in my hands my love
I will not cry as I watch you go
Die in my hands my love
Our memories fade, take them away
Die in my hands my love
All the pain in my heart, I send it off with you

My bruises fade, my wounds start to heal

No more tears, no more fear

A Promise
He stares at an open field
A background of stars behind him and blue sky ahead
He stands at the edge of reason
Swaying with the wind
He refuses the urge to move forward
As his demons chase after him
He breaks the surface
And clings to a dream of a shadow of a shell when everything was the same
Yet he knows it never will be
What now, he wonders
Back or forward
He cannot return to the past
Memories, fierce, like sharpened blades call out to him
The blue sky before him taunts him
Come, she whispers, see what darkness I place in your...

In the dark I sit, waiting
In the cold I lie, hoping
Too much time spent in a lie
Too many hours in a dream
The illusion shatters, and through the glass I see your face
The adoration of man, never have I craved such attention
Until, good Sir, until your eyes fell upon me
I felt your gaze, felt the weight of your passions
And like a fallen leaf I was lost in your breeze
Falling forever, caught in your wind
I lost my center, lost my world
Lost my mind, as well as my life
To you, kind Sir, I gave my will
You hung me from a thread and...
