MISCELLANEOUS POEM

bettr lving thru sbtractn
did you dream once the too-vivid scheme?
and were you splayed astray by those small purgatories
of the everyday?
like crook jowls of gasoline
seen upon the ashtray mind
which cleaves and contrives
and rather ignites the spit that it leaves.
Oh my comrades of strewn days !
come impertinent dazed !
- what antagonisms became of us in sparks
& boots blackened against the pricks
grasped in gasping smoke which
relays
...
and were you splayed astray by those small purgatories
of the everyday?

the arc bent slow in regular time.
the arc bent slow in regular time.
i groped at the groaning of her mind
like a tow -rope thru the echoes of the mouth
for the reef was black as midnight can
drink the iron ore and breathe the steam we leave.
fragile as an iron dream.
O traveler O but the hold is tired,
and the waters wicked & green!
i signed my name in seaweed
as the ark bent to the beat,
irregularly upon the bridge. & all attempts
at recovery hence, became cockney'd.
...

pithy vapours hide the dawn in yawning quiet hours
Pithy vapours hide the dawn
In yawning quiet hours
Thru a latticework of jade
The sky blooms grey then golden.
Queer imbalance, curio arrangements
Create portions of a dream
Seen in half-sleep, blurred as if falling,
In kindred moon and shadow
Down the bluestone harbor,
Chopping water amongst the blossoms,
Tufts of wind dealt me clean again
And dazzling whitewash rinsed my motions!
'Til morn's lattermost rays
Gainsay the last of your name away
& Pithy vapours hide...

I fear hidden in the jumble
Mine wires have crossed enormously; but
Wine makes nice, nice enough to flaunt
In sunlight
Your perfect form and sugar sweet naivete

When reduced to the rubble of our disenchantment
the lantern slants weakly upon the fragments,
conveyer of endless ascensions and redactions.
here every body shares a vague opinion
against this age of untimely assassins, a pendulum
scythes the harvest. scythes the energy
and the cadence down to sweet nothings
spilled crimson upon the sidewalk. O
here we meet at a great loss of sensation.

I REST MY HEAD SHE SAYS IN cornucopia of clouds
she says with dread she says

rapidly insistently
the boredom of my blood gestures outward further
where no grey matter was spared the electrocution.
the doors broke how fast how loose we arrived at our prescribed distances .
blither blather tongues O necromantical Apollo

Let Flow, Fool, the Nile of Your Tears...
Let Flow, Fool, the Nile of Your Tears,
Like Mine Fell and Filled the Miles and the Years
Companions of a farce, color me dimly
the exact exact exact confusion of confessions,
for all lovers i know are lunatics ! O
amantes sunt amentes!
-and yet how we've come to regard the heart again
by paraphrase of redemption & pursuit.
and might it be enough, knowing how to seem to simply be
stronger for the knowing,
for the believing ...

Cleromancy in Static Simile
kissedt of the crowning morning inviscid.
here the vice locks against the ceiling
& our shipwreck strums its Ahab surge;
here we fist the double-edge of believing,
& jinx the jagged semblable of our love.
the heart is built of sensual machinations.
the membrane axis stirs the madhouse.
casting bones for show upon shoals of mud and stone,
casting the strata & the driftwood of our blood,
fagged & mangled in the composite blending.
let me be so broodsome, O Absence !
the heart...
