POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Hypo-cradle
Set about that novel wheel and fulcrum
Dying with it our precious virago
Poor now the crash has finally come
Alone in this descent from sorrow
Bushel of creatures deaf, blind and dumb
Their mark left on every plateau
Scars found running down every chasm
Her horrid wail now barely an echo
Reborn through lithesome metals and sinew
Slaking callous aches full of the devil
Neither content to heed nor grasp virtue
Complacent with our snake oil babble
A baker's dozen lit up for congress and slough
Her bosom too wild for this mammal
Raising...

Poor now the crash has finally come

Uncongenial Scene
I found her face
bloodstained anew,
lips displaying a smile
I've never grown wise to.
Every bit as taken
as I thought she'd be,
body laid within a thicket
of pale blossoms and debris.
Not a thing to know
her dress from the soil,
downy hair swept to and fro
by autumn winds cold-blooded.
bloodstained anew,
lips displaying a smile
I've never grown wise to.
Every bit as taken
as I thought she'd be,
body laid within a thicket
of pale blossoms and debris.
Not a thing to know
her dress from the soil,
downy hair swept to and fro
by autumn winds cold-blooded.

The Snag Tree
Nine months ago.
He sits alone in his kitchen, calloused fingers picking at a knot on the table, comparing it to the several tumors that still remain. Bored with this game, he leans back in his chair and rubs his knees for a little while. The pain only lessening to a certain degree.
Seven months ago.
A knock jars him awake. Robe loosely hanging from his gaunt frame, he opens the door to stare down an empty hallway. Traces of a possible smile fall away. His red and puffy eyes unnerved by the all too familiar loss.
Five months ago.

Cancerated Feathers
Wet beneath the barrel,
her lips secrete wanton aches,
overloading another spiral.
Myself dead in these vestal waters,
her acids and alcohols cascading through
an aperture that once held her virtue.
Throat sated with lush trembles,
disabusing passion of unfair judgement
and purging inhibitions one mustn't.
Adopt this foolish leer upon my face,
her catamenial redolence I viscerally covet.
Saturate this guilty of cozening tongue,
die to ebb beneath the impassivity among
which lies a laved poetic template.
Effectuate another...
