LIfeline
In "real life" - they all say
That girl is happy every day
what lies beneath the smiling eyes
is a hurt she desperately tries to hide
Look at me - she says in time
don't worry - this old girl is doing just fine
but in her mind - thoughts are scattered
only one man now does matter
She's married, but always alone
clinging to her lifeline - now her phone
Facing the world behind a lie
Her heart breaks, no matter how she tries...

Desire in my heart

Restless is my soul
Passion is not shame

It is worth all the fear
Share a connection
This love runs deep
Joined at the soul
My life you complete
More than just friends
But never a vow
As two become one
A bond forever now
Accept what it is
Cherish each day
Live in the moment
Seek out a way

Your lips touch mine
I caress your soul
Glimpses in time

Whispers on skin
Echos through me
Fires within
Delicate kisses
A candle with flame

Bound by tomorrow
Free from yesterday
Living for yourself
Means living life each day
Hopes, dreams, and memories
All come rushing thru
Scared shadows of the heart
Afraid for me and you
Time slowly creeping by
With every passing fear
Longing to be held and dry
My crystal drops of tears
Searching for those memories
That I have yet to find
Sifting through my unaltered past
Seeing the future I leave behind
I live to find tomorrow
I cherish yesterday

Living for yourself

Struggle
Wonder what it would be like
to be held close every night
have someone kiss me
as they turn down the lights
what would it be like
to wake up every day
with someone by my side
who wants me to stay
I live in a dream
but is it time to let go?
the sadness inside
he feels from me I know
If I were a saint
I would tell him goodbye
unburden his cross
lift the ties that I bind
yet I am not that strong
I don't want to let go
his smile fills my heart
he is now part of my soul
I have put him in darkness ...
to be held close every night
