I want....
I want you to hold my hand while we grocery shop. I want you to play with my hair while we watch our favorite tv shows. I want you to kiss me in the middle of my sentence because you wanted to taste my words. I want you to rub my back as we fall asleep. I want you to play my favorite song when I look sad. I want you to do these things without having to think about them. Do them because you love me.

Journey of life
Life is a journey, a journey forced onto us by birth
It was never our intentions to
Live
How we do or do what we do
Imprisoned by our beliefs
And victim of our own infatuation
We live our lives, governed by what we believe to be correct or true.
Causing hurt in the process without even realizing
We meet ppl unexpectedly
Fall desperately
And love unconditionally
Life is what it is...
Perfection is over-rated
While true happiness is under-stated
It was never our intentions to

Great soul
Maya Angelou has died and we mourn a great soul. Those of us who have read her poems and books know the phenomenal mind she has and know her journey has been one that is remarkable. While we flood our news feeds with her quotes, tributes to her and appreciation of her work; many of us continue to lead cliched lives that are a carbon copy of another. We praise a woman that stood out during her lifetime yet in our very attitudes and how we live our lives, we go against the work that she and countless others have put in place in the fight for equality for not only our skin colour but as people,...

Amateur Piece :)
I met this girl who had that charismatic vibe about her.
Everything she said and did was smooth.
Smooth,giving me that type of adrenaline rush.
Her roots,her personality,her strong native background.
All interest me.
I became too interested,wanted more but told myself I had to stop.
Made a foolish mistake and it seemed as if she didn't hesitate to let go.
This girl blew my mind.
My body.
My soul.
Leaving me with absolutely no control.
How does she do it?
I'm addicted and I refuse to let go.
Funny how someone can have a big impact on your...
