Gently caressed by the wind
Their fragrance
A narration of love inclined
Each petal a lovers kiss
In this garden of springs
Alone
I reminisce

Everywhere
Sits the empty chair
Everywhere
The pain of despair

Behind the scent of flower beds
Lie dreams that for forever went unsaid
The chair that knows the loneliness there
In death my ghost can only stare

The cracked veneer of beauty leaks
For whispers of love we all really seek
Imagine all the lives that sat
Waiting for scented blooms that never last

The chair you see, so humble and small
Is lonely in its garden of lore
So with a tear and last hope, I do implore
