Hi-Flyer (Life is Strange)
My entire world captured in a camera lens,
Each second saved in imperishable moments,
It's like each picture is Father Time's tribute to Mother Earth,
And I'm merely a humble handmaiden bringing them closer together,
I'm a photographer, an artist, sort of,
Aiming to turn my life into a scrapbook,
By preserving everything I love,
It's not a hobby more of a personal passion but when I take pictures I still hope someone will look,
Cause it takes a special kind of guts to put your life out on display,

I understand what you're trying to do Bruce,
Caught between what they tell you and what you tell yourself you long for a truce,
But how can you find peace through masochistic abuse,
You've made your name and existence a contradiction,

Upbeat, The Islander: Upbeat Comes To Terms
I'm a simple guy,
I like video games, music and succeeding without trying,
So when a man comes up to me and tell me he can save my life,
Who am I to turn down a free book from a generous passerby,
Strange how after hundreds of Reddit articles I find these red words the most astounding,
Each verse saturated with a truth beyond my understanding,
I embraced the scripture in my new-found belief,
Ditching skeptics and scientific contention for a biblical motif,
So with my newfangled faith I embarked on a holy endeavor,

Vain
Your reflection is deceiving,
Its ego cumbersome and unwieldy,
It knows exactly why you're here,
You seek the prophecy from the aesthetic far-seer,
It knows your petition for daily guidance,
And within it you place complete reliance,
For without it you'd sink into a cesspool of colors and hair-flipping insanity,
Why does your world revolve around the ocular glass,
But with plastered foundation your skin appears chapped and crass,
So go ahead stare until you're blind,
The mirror knows your intentions all...

Rallying against the "patriarchy",

Of the new normalcy,
The spawn of insanity,
It's governmental power's consolidating,
Passing laws seeped in their neo-Puritan ideology,
Trickling down to the streets of cities,
Lines of cultists reciting mantras of supremacy,
What started as liberation,
From biased economic legislation,
Fighting for the next generation,
Embracing gender modernization,

You Loved I
Without you time falls into disrepair broken and forlorn,
I can feel my body wake in the morn,
Yet I lay writhing on the floor,
Day and night have lost their charm,
Disregard my friend's calls to alarm as I plunge into madness,
For while my tongue is forked in joy it sears in sadness,
I can still weave crowns of praise telling of my obsessive infatuation,
Bloating yourself with my compliments in copious saturation,
And it is all because of my one true love abandoning me,
She betrayed my secret vows leaving me...

Hand in Hand
Framed by moonlight,
Neither sunlit consciousness nor death's aegis,
Will come between our union tonight,
For I can no longer deny myself the happiness they promise,
Every creak in the floorboard and fluttering of my heart is talking,
Urging me to become the prince of her story,
The future they've envisioned for us seems like a fantasy,
A sleeping damsel in distress calling for a knight in shining armor to defeat the societal dragon,
And exchange an eternal vow through one swift motion,
Life after death wrapped...
