POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I enjoy ALL kinds of poetry and stories. If you captivate me, I'm sold. I hope you feel the same about the poems I produce!
One with Humanity
Haven't you noticed the ocean's wailing waves, a desperate cry to someone but always misunderstood as a "calming lullaby"?
Each crash upon the open shore to the hidden clams leave a vast variety of shells on the course ground. It exposed every hook and cranny life would be able to survive against predators by hiding and distancing themselves. So, the ocean may not be weeping, but the stunted snapper beached on the coast frantically flailing in an attempt to meet up with the ocean is. The unveiled clams swiftly diffing as their life depends on it, as it does. Even the land...

Under the Clovers
Peek out the Patio,
Pasture of clovers.
Reminiscent of the time I exhausted,
Your panting decelerated.
Obscure thumps ready to cease,
My eyes tinged in agony.
With an embrace, you’re guided through the trefoils,
A reminder of a decade before.
Oh, the torment you were in.
As the cancer expanded across your physique,
My perception was murky.
Vet on standby, wails were muffled,
Tranquilly, you faded…
Now, flourishing where you rest,
Between the meadow of clovers,
Shamrocks of four-leaves.

The Siren
Recently, I encountered a woman,
Alluring as can be.
Modeling her features,
She appears to be a celebrity,
As polished skin is not just granted to anyone.
Her coal highlights formed to a helix,
Carve out prominent features,
Including her round, aloe eyes.
The unexpected candy glaze dripped from her lips,
Intoxication of wine clouding all judgment,
With milky teeth curving into a smirk.
God, was she charming,
Poise surrounding her figure,
Confidence sweating in her presence.
Adored by all who glanced,
Doors...

Glare from the Willow Tree
As I lie in a spot designated only for me,
The peering eyes from another send a taser through my chest.
"Who's there?"
No reply.
The grass shivers with the wind, frightened and alone,
While the Willow tree ahead grows massive in size.
I can't escape it's grasp.
I'm in a trance.
"Let me free!"
The coo of the raven immediately sends my heart out of shock.
It's been watching with a grimacing look,
Disapproval and disappointment liters the air.
Standing up, I cast a stone that lies perfectly next to the root, ...
