Perfection
How do I become your perfect kid
When you won't let me try
I shower fast and clean up to the last
Drop, everything the way you want it
How is it that I have to be perfect
When you think I'm a failure
Whatch the kids
Clean the house
Do my home work
Nearly perfect grades
I can't be perfect if you do not let me
I can't do everything you want from me
I'm not a mother yet they are my kids
I'm not an adult yet you act like I should be
All I ever do is work and study
You can't tell how much I try
All you see is...

What's wrong?
So hard I work
Stressing, pushing
I just want to be perfect for you
Prejudiced against me and only me,
You yell and scream
I can't stay forever with the pain
I contemplate running away
But I know that I can't leave them
Those two little angels that I love do dearly
I try harder for your approval
I give every effort I have
I'm never enough
I cook, clean, babysit, and yet
You want nothing to do with me
There is no love from you to me.
My grades are stellar
I only participate in one extracurricular ...

She is beautiful inside and out
The most lovely one I know.
One day I wish to have her, all to myself
To cherish her the right way as she should be!
But now the beauty is with him and I shan't have her.

I miss you so dearly
You became my life and everything
I loved was you
Now suddenly my everything
Is gone. You are no longer with me and
So I suffer waiting for our reunion
Maybe it's not you who
Is gone, maybe I'm the one who disappeared
I wish that it wasn't thins way
So my love,
You have my heart even though we are separate
I will find you again some day
This is all
My fault. I shouldn't have let them
Make me move away.

The blank lines on the page
Beckon me to fill them
The silent air around me
Beckons me to sing out
The starless night sky above me
Beckons me to light it
The dark side of the moon

LOVE POEM

A Soldier's Wife
And on that fateful day
A soldier there did lay
Upon the ground in pain
He cried out in pain but, t'was in vain
He had fought so many a day
In the war that was all decay
All he wanted was to go back
To the place where love was not in lack.
The soldier prayed someone would come
And tip onto his wounds cleansing rum
Then take him away
To a safe place to stay.
When his rescuer arrived
The soldier was no longer deprived
Of the tender love he desired
It burned flamed and fired.
A soldier there did lay
