POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I have an honest, ramble-y style. I mainly wrote stories, so usually my poems seem a bit more narrative. However; they aren't all too good in their purpose.
Apathy
The people I consider friends seem to ramble on and on, their words clearly lost on me. I only meet their rants with the occasional nod or "mhm."
I only then realized that loneliness doesn't come from being alone, it seems inate.
No matter the people I find, nor what they say, it never seems to resonate.
The choir seems to sing, but I seem blind. No matter the perfection of each tone, the harmony built upon each perfect note, it all is drowned out by the aching sound of apathy.
I question if I should even sing, my voice lost in the sea of others....

A Patient Morning
Though the morning is always a time of labour, I find a sort of beauty in it's stillness.
Loathing the hour I have to wake, yet appreciating it's lonely magnificence.
The stars, moon, and sky work in tandem to paint a picture more vivid than any dream could wish to be. It's message clear too, shouting to all who gaze upon the morn sky;
"Our glamour far outmatches your futile attempts to recreate the Universe and all it's intricacy."
Your patience is rewarded however, for if you wait, the true splendor of the early hours is revealed.
