The world's like my room
It's such a mess
The world's like a fire
Burning my flesh
The world's like a ghost
It haunts me now
We used to be alive
But we're all dead now
It used to be
A place to stay
Now it's a place that makes me wanna get away
People just bury their heads in their phones
People keep lying
And unattend their homes
And when they're home
they just sit infront of a screen
If you turn it off they'll most likely just scream
It's so unusual
The way we used to live

The ship
The sails
The lies
The trails
The truth
The rot
Do you really think that I forgot?!
How could I

I can't sleep at night
From the pain that you bring!

To the depths and the dark

Shine bright and they spark
Sparking the candle
Of how you really are

Day after Day
I feel it
I feel this
Way
Day after day
I feel like we're breaking
Apart in someway
My voice isn't clear
My eyes cannot see
My lungs are drowned out by
This reality
Nobody wants me
I'm dead and I'm cold
I don't believe in religion or spiritual growth
I don't believe
That heaven exists
My only sanctuary
Is the silver
Slipping across my wrists.

Such lies and deceit
I won't beg for the truth
Or kiss at your feet
