POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Your Eyes
I wish I could see myself with your eyes,
Just to see what it is you see in me.
All I see are mistakes and imperfections.
How could you not see what I see?
It's visible right away...
It's the first thing I see when I look upon my reflection.
It's the only thing I can see.
Teach me how to view the world with your eyes,
It's dark and obscure in mine.
Teach me how to see the horrifying acts of humanity,
And still have faith in the world.
Tell me how to find the light,
And flee from the hands of darkness.
Be my teacher.
I'll be a good...

False Fears
The harmonious darkness,
I could not escape.
It feeds my tired soul with joy,
And my dark twisted mind with content.
I welcomed darkness in my life,
From a very young age.
When mankind submerged me in the ocean,
Darkness was my only aid.
They say "be cautious in the dark".
But my dear,
It is not an occurrence in the dark
You should fear.
For the true malevolence lies within
The vile nature of humanity,
And they're creation of false fears.
I could not escape.
It feeds my tired soul with joy,
And my dark twisted mind with content.
I welcomed darkness in my life,
From a very young age.
When mankind submerged me in the ocean,
Darkness was my only aid.
They say "be cautious in the dark".
But my dear,
It is not an occurrence in the dark
You should fear.
For the true malevolence lies within
The vile nature of humanity,
And they're creation of false fears.
