Politicians
A man approaches the stand
Slithering,
Like a snake in a suit
His hair slicked back
Greasy,
Unlike his elbows.
There's pomp in his stride
And his grin is like cheddar
The people there are waiting
Restless,
In anticipation of what he's about to say.
His words cause unrest
The people aren't happy
He dodges their questions
Like bullets,
And fires them back
In the form of lies and empty promises.
His speech is over
The man takes his chauffeur car home
And sips champagne in...

The bell rings for recess
The kids go to play
But little do they know
This will be their last day
They're laughing and singing
And all having fun
'Til a stranger shows up
With a loaded machine gun
They don't know why he's here
There's no time to ask
He pulls down the trigger
And carries out his sick task
Innocent lives lost
The shells gleam in the sun
The man's taken down
But the damage is now done
Why are people so evil?
This whole world's a mess

The world ends tonight
The plates are now shifting
The ground starts to crack
The temperature's rising
There's no turning back
The tide gets restless
The ice melts in the sun

What have we all done?
The storm is approaching

God is real, but he's lazy
I had an interview with God, I said I thought he was a fraud.
Then he sent me back to Earth, and he cursed me for my birth.
So I went to see Satan, he was standing there waiting and his skin was all fiery and red.
I looked in his eyes and asked 'God's just all lies?'
He nodded and in a loud voice he said....
God is real but he's lazy, he's so fucking crazy!
All the prayer he don't care, he just sits there in bliss.
Even when people die, he just dont bat an eye,
Who would have faith in a God such as this?
So I went back to Earth...
Then he sent me back to Earth, and he cursed me for my birth.

I learned the truth at 23
That love was never meant for me.
Its for all the girls and guys
Full of vanity and selfish pride.
I spend another night alone
Without someone to call my own
I look up towards the sky
Back down to Earth, I start to cry.
