Hell
The misty haze falls away from the sun
hanging out 'till this day is over and done
looking out the window, sun shining off the knife
wondering why I can't control my life
watch the steel bite into my wrist
feel the sting of my life resolved
no signs of live as I hit the floor
I wish this coldness would numb me some more
this pain hasn't left when will I be set free
now I'm doing solitary time
Looking at a life I left behind
wondering is anybody here, maybe everyone is dead
darkness surrounds me the emptiness is here
my life is now this to...

You keep from me the fruit of our lust
the bond grows weaker with every mistrust
my pain is your comfort my demise your success
you walk down the isle in a soiled white dress
a ring on the finger some ink on the paper
given the chance I know he would rape her
my reason to breath ripped from my chest
my mind a blackened maze full of unrest
futile cries rebound off your walls

Embers
I walk this same path I know it so well
sliding back to a life that's heading for hell
so many footprints so much I have wasted
this battle I'm loosing got to turn round and face it
a spec in the horizon now a life full of fear
I want to turn and run find complacency's care
but now there's nothing to see to gaze back at the past
ignorant life just doesn't last
You call me a hard bastard when my face wears a frown
but if I'm never happy then I can't crash down
if I have no hope I wont feel it fall apart
if I avoid love then you wont break...

Stagnant Waters
Like a new born cut from its mother
you took your love from me gave it to another
now a fiery pain burns me inside
the only waters of love are the tears I have cried
my friends tell me I've got to move on
but I'm better off dead now that you've gone
I can't sleep for all the memories of you
your voice saying I love you now I know it was never true
I hear the rain on the roof for a moment the pain calms
now all I need is your warmth in my arms

It's like a kick in the face when your doing your best and it all falls apart
Like so many time before go back to the dream where you were at the start
Getting high is closest thing to the feeling you felt when you knew what love was about
Now your only friend is the needle numbing your mind so you don't feel your life

What are you thinking I'm trying to speak
your minds exploring my never ending sleep
you never thought my conscience would swallow so deep
but there's a way out of here follow the heat
maybe I will awaken and our souls will meet
try and escape now my presence is near
don't tarry my sweet I'll drown in your tears
I felt death once and I'll feel it when you leave

Lonely Bed
With every passing star filled sky
I lie awake and wonder why
why the nights are now so cold
why my arms lost you to hold
your pillow still lies next to mine
the scent of your skin fading with time
every day I wake thinking your there
the reality you are not, too much to bare
thoughts of you torment my head
as I lie crying in this lonely bed
the love we shared you did forsake
now my heart for you will always ache.
