Invincible
Timeless
Unstoppable
Free
Invincible
I feel so different
And it feels perfect
Because before I
Was too scared to move
But now I have the lightest spirit of all
And I soar like the squeaky red balloon
I let go of all those years ago when
Applebee’s made my life complete.
I didn’t know what complete was until the line on my
Monitor stopped having to climb all of the mountains.
A whole eight years all my line ever did was climb.
I’m grateful that it got the chance to just sprint.
But now that every other part...

New Beginnings
The cawing crow
With wings as black
As the boogie man’s heart
Silently steals
Through the dark

A broken tree
With a rope on a branch.
Suddenly, the Sun’s rays
Peek across the horizon,
Much to the crow’s dismay.
It begins to crack.
Down it’s crooked spine
And into its crooked heart.
It writhes in pain
Misery, and...

A Man's City
I adventured out into the woods,
Which was a special occasion
Because I always stay inside with my
Mother and do the “women’s chores”.
A shrill shriek escaped my lips
When all the tiny twigs and branches
Got caught in my tightly curled hair
That takes an hour to do every morning.
So I retreated back into the house
And grabbed a pair of scissors.
My brown hair floated peacefully to
The ground for my mother to later discover.
I ran back in to the woods and walked
A bit further until a large pile of mud
