I started writing love letter 39 years ago at that time she was my girlfriend, married 38. to say I love you seemed never enough. so over the years i have written thousands of letters odes poems and notes some pretty good and some not so much

Your more beautiful
than all the flowers in the garden
like the most delicate as a Jasmine
and fervent as a cactus flower
when you hold my hand
reminds me I am a man
no rose petals or candles
when we are deeply intimate
hot sauce and fireworks
are the way you like to roll

I wish I could speak softy
to speak with more caution
so you could hear my love
not just from the ink and paper
not just from the bed
where I have become even better
I just don't know why my mind disengages
my mouth runs off the rail

every time we fight
it's moments that are lost
lost for eternity
never to be revived
approaching our twilight
still along ways from midnight
we need to make every moment

You never knew
real loneliness was a mystery to you
growing up was like flowing in a stream
when you first said I love you
it was the first I ever heard
I love you directed at me
for the first time I felt full of life
it was to be a given in the home I grew
needs provided was that prof
there was an emptiness in me
a deep abyss void of a need
someone said they cared
since that day that unfed
you deliver that banquet
you never knew the first I love you

hot and ready

A white rose
a white rose to bloom
as symbol of purity and truth
you were made for me at birth
God sent an angel to me
a bent halo and tattered wings
an angel that evil found before me
a predator enticed statutorily
the one God did give to me
there we a few who tried
there attempts were D.O.A
to steal that gift God made for me
they were proven unworthy
my angel gave finally was able to gift to me
heart soul and body white rose purity
a white rose God gave me
