War Is The Answer
*This title is not mine, it is the title of Five Finger Death Punch's CD, I take no credit for the title, it just fit my poem**
Look at the fucked up world today
Lies and hate, all we see
He hates her, she hates you
There's nothing you can do about it
Just sit back and watch the show
You don't even have to help
The guns are flying hand to hand
Now the sky's burning red
Glowing from the fires that never seem to fade
Somehow, someway no one seems to care
They dying all around, bodies everywhere
Nothing free about the ground your on...

BOREDOMMMM!
Lies
Spreading the wings of anger
Feeling the sorrow within
Deceit
Broken on the edge
Falling through the ice
Scarred
Emotions breaking through
No longer kept within
Terror
Once alone again
Felt it with everything
Why??
Ask yourself constantly
How can you forgive?
Broken
Ashamed of all we've become
Now what???
Spreading the wings of anger

Unaware and Oblivious
Personality of gold
Looks of a rockstar
Someone that makes me smile
That is what you are
Yet you don't seem to see it
Though I'll never understand
Shy, but so incredible
You're one amazing man
Shock and awe
Came with meeting you
Now that we're together
Can YOU see you?
Through the eyes of another
With out the flaws
Maybe then you'd understand
What I see going on
Someone special inside
That has been forced to hide
By too much rejection
Given by your own reflection
Saving your self...
Looks of a rockstar

Really not so fond of this one..
The hunter
Stalks his pray and unknowingly becomes the hunted
Followed
Hands on the trigger
Waiting for the moment to take the shot
Twisted fate
The tables turn
Stumbles to the ground
Ankles split and bleeding
Secrets scattered in the blackness
Shining with new found glory
Dots like glitter in the sky
Forever to remain
Immortal in the sky
Orion

Mirror Image
My own face stares back at me
Naked
I see the light reflecting brightly
The scars on my skin show vivid
Looking at my eyes
You know I haven't slept for days
One might worry...
Exactly why I put on my mask
Base layer, to hide any marks
Pale looking skin, free of scars
Looking sickly
Time for color, dusting skin with shimmer
A normal looking girl...What they see on the outside
Layers of black, to outline the eyes
Creating a look that covers the bruises
Styling my hair
To pretend I fit in
Final touch, a fake smile
Now I...

Baby,
I don't even know where to begin
You were the one that was always there
Brutally honest to the end
Even when we'd fight
Knowing you were who I'd turn to
When things got dark and scary
Made everything so much better
What I wouldn't give,
to feel your embrace again
So many times I've tried
letting go of the memories,
I can't
they're all I have left
You're not here,
never will be again
Taken to early
You shouldn't be dead
Who am I supposed to turn to at night
Lonely and scared and without you...

When the flow just doesn't fit the rest of it...
You slice your wrist and bleed everywhere
Are we supposed to feel bad?
You're the one who "couldn't hold on"
Apparently it was too much
Don't ask for pity
For you'll not receive it
You let it take over your being
Life may get tough
Just keep pushing onward
Don't listen to the sounds
Of Everyone putting you down
Else, You'll end up regretting
