Burning Memories
Gathering things
That no longer matter
Into the woods
Of her heart
Placing stones into circles
Twigs and dried leaves
Kindle the hot flames
Burning her soul
She has no time
For reflections
She places her belongings
Into the rising heat
Of fire
She watches with fascination
The curling up and withering
To dust and ash
The stories of her previous life
Remnants caught in the wind
Swirl into the sky
Sparks sizzle
Leaving a pile of smoky
Smoldering memories
That scorch the skin cells
Of her broken heart
Gathering things
That no longer matter
Into the woods
Of her heart
Placing stones into circles
Twigs and dried leaves
Kindle the hot flames
Burning her soul

Burn
Every cell of my body in a fire is tremendously burning,
As your cheeks lightly red-up when I compliment you,
Oh, I love to leave your heart beating and eyes yearning,
It is a sweet revenge to see your heart and body lighting up too.
Sadly you foolishly tried to play another game,
Our set of cards couldn’t handle such treason,
And even though I can’t say that you are to blame,
You threw gasoline on my heart annihilating all my reason.
My whole corpse is set alight in the velvet night,
This fire once pleasant is now destroying me,
Only for my humble soul to escape and be,
In those poems that for you I write.
But what is a human being once his flesh turned to dust?
My love remaining but my very corpse withering,
Is that what happens when love meets the evil rust?
This whole situation is leaving me dithering,
What could we have done to prevent ourselves from hurting
And our bright and wanted future from diverting?

"And On the 6th Day"
From dust we were born,
Through mud we were sculpted,
With fire we were hardened,
Clothed by skin we were molded,
In the image of our Father,
To stand by His side,
As His sons and daughters.

"The Desolation of Smaug"
With the fury of the ancients,
I bellow cacophonies of flame,
Scales of ebony and flesh of diamond,
I annihilate fortresses and raze mountains,
My eternal legacy written in the remnants of dwarven civilization,
Where only dust remains,
With the fury of the ancients,
I bellow cacophonies of flame,
Scales of ebony and flesh of diamond,
I annihilate fortresses and raze mountains,
My eternal legacy written in the remnants of dwarven civilization,
Where only dust remains,
