More Than Our Grove Allowed

There was the unsoot taste of disillusion
The stale clinging to the sensate of hope
In spite of lacking it

The enterprising allure of  saving a dream
Will unlash even the meekest of desires
Transform them to giants for a while

The onrush of emotion wrapping reality in
A twister of mixed up baggage
battered to a silkness that deceives
Even the wisest or most grandevous soul

memoirs of fields and beauty unspoiled
Although the nectarine is juiced and disgarded
As pulp
And it was all so long ago

Sensate World

How unsoot is this corrupted block
like a twister causing damage
without a care in the world,
though I continue to onrush through
my life knowing it's disillusion
but I rather that then fall again
into the deep well of depression
where I found myself enjoying
a nectarine before falling asleep
into the arms of this sensate world
as I un-lash myself from the rope
that has held me down for years,
I became drenched in the silkness
of low self esteem but today I'm
enterprising and showing all
that I'm here to stay, my
grandevous state of mind no
longer strayed.

All entries were great.

Celine, I loved your entry but it was missing one of the words "Silkness" I read and re-read your piece to check.  I would have been choosing between you and Miss G for first place otherwise.

Thank you all for entering. I have to dash

Oh no! And I had a perfect part to place that word, too. Ah well, just wasn't meant to be, well done Miss G!
